Very cool video. Just bought an old, very heavy Delta Contractor saw for $50. Very helpful to watch what you did to get some idea what I am in for. Overall, with some work it will be the best saw in my garage.
In the future just TH-cam search your motor's symptoms. You'll find a hundred videos on diagnosing motors. That's how I found out that I needed a new capacitor.
anthony dutcher, it won’t be in the next video, but in a future video I will be showing the wiring inside the box because I’m adding a 120V vacuum motor as a dust collector. If that doesn’t get you what you’re looking for, then send another comment. Thanks for watching!
I just got a unisaw 34-761 and the extension that it came with was garbge and wouldnt have made it into my shop but i was a dork and didnt measure it..do you happen to have the stock length of the extension
i had to go through the same process once upon the time, you shouldn't have used plywood as an extension, you should have used melamine. melamine surface is ideal when ripping material, you will find yourself putting a whole lot of wax on plywood. also you should have added a router plate in that extension, it saves a lot of garage space..
Unisaw best saw ever. I have a VERY dependable 1955 model with a HUGE 1.5 hp motor

Did you cover the motor to keep sawdust inside the cabinet?
In the next video can you do a close up of the wireing setup to the box and the switch plz

I need to redesign my mobile base it's sagging too much. Is your base working well?
James McGuire, it’s not sagging at all, but the castle system I designed needs doesn’t quite work like a had envisioned.
No riving knife. Nice saw, though.
how the HELL did you get that thing in there YOURSELF - especially at THAT angle!!!!????
antigen4, it wasn’t easy!
Yea just got one or a close model and its like 200 pounds idk how you did that by yourself
