Fitting SSR GTX01's + BUILDING Desmond Regamasters! | Dream Automotive

Welcome back to the channel! This week we are fitting some SSR GTX01's to this FK8 which is already sat on some Tein S-Tech Coilovers! Combining the 19x9.5 ET38 spec of the wheel and the existing stance of the car, we achieve a great looking and aggressive stance!
We also have some Desmond Regamasters to build up. The Regamaster is an iconic JDM wheel, which got a tonne of attention at Goodwood, so we're excited to be showing you them in more detail in this video! One day I will visit Dream Automotive in 🇬🇧. ICB here in the US sells the Regamasters in 18 x 10 +50 offset for wider tires and closer to the stock fk8 offset for a better scrub radius.

Do you guys think that if I get the same SSR wheels will be fine with 265/35/19 tires? My type r has stock suspension

Definitely. I have the same wheels for my TL and I went with a 255/40. Should've went with a 265 as the 255 still has a very slight stretch. The wheel needs more tire

Wheel gap has to go.. What's the drop height on the Tein?

Approximately 25mm all around on the Tein springs!

19x9.5" is stupid size its too wide it will rub and cause stress on the suspension components.

Although ET38 is a slightly more aggressive fitment than we'd usually advise, the customer was incredibly happy with their choice and has encountered no issues!

​@jasonswift7098 I have the same fitment in gtx04 and there is no rubbing at all on the fk8 .
