Damn son. I was playing along with you and that sounded great! I can't play with my percussionists because no of them actually bother to learn the song : / but seriously like damn I've been in percussion for about 3 months now (switched from trumpet) and like. Holy crap. I've never really heard what it's like to have 2 snares that both actually know the song play at the same time like good. Let alone me be one of them. Thx, that was great. Also helped me hear what it was like a little louder than the rest of the band. Good for catching my mistakes. Thx.
Dude, I know this was 3 years ago but I play trumpet and I am learning percussion too!! It's cool that someone else did the same thing! How did it go for ya?
It's also a lot easier to play when you hold your sticks the best way for concert. Your holding them traditional in the video. That's more for marching band. It also helps to keep your pinkies on the stock while playing.
Yes it’s a pretty easy piece but that’s my opinion been interested in percussion since I was old enough to realize how fun it was, been in Sophinex band since 6th grade it’s really fun!!
GOLDps2 They said “I played this in 6th grade.” I think it’s safe to assume that they’re no longer in 6th and are in at least 7th grade if they’re playing Celtic Air and March.
saw slasher43 he's holding them traditional. That's more for marching and not for concert. So it's not who taught him, it's that he wasn't taught the more concert way of holding them.
goldenplaystation yep sure did but that doesn’t matter everything else was epic!! And I know this too I am playing this for my MPA but yea it’s pretty easy!

Your not supposed to use traditional grip on this, ESPECIALLY if your playing this is marching band.
This is not a marching band piece tho
Your rushing a bit and off tempo but very good overall.
The song is like that
I have the same problem

@@percmanrolo I'm not in band anymore

Its really good but ur snare sounds a little weird but it might just be the video not you
It sounds like it needs a better mute.
In the song you turn off the snares
Im playing it for band and im only grade six in a grade 8 band.
You got the rhythm of it right, but you screwed up a lot of places in tempo, if the CD is the tempo you're set to.
brudda you holding the sticks wrong
Boi is this satire
It's an another type of holding them idiot
Dude get a better mic
where is your skill you arent even in time for half of it
