Pay cash for everything. Never ever borrow money. If you don't have the money for it do without and you will never do without what you need. It worked for me.
I use Credit Card because of cash back. Most ppl have negative comments about CC users but I'm actually debt free, pay on time, pay in full, mindful of my spending habits and I do have a budget. Plus the cash back credit to me is free money!
I agree credit cards can be useful in certain situations some ppl have a tendency to put everything on a card bcuz they think its free money but are quickly brought back to reality when its time to start paying it off smh i use mine wisely and i stick to having one card and when ever they want to increase my limit or offer another card i say no thank u bcuz i know those are a sure fire way to become careless spenders
i'm searching for information in cc and i don't quite understand about the cash back or how u don't have debt by using one. Can someone explain it to me? i'll appreciated
This year, I saved up all my cash back and applied it to my statement to offset Christmas gifts. Definitely a good idea for anyone who is good with credit cards.
Nice tips. What helps me is that I grow my own food (fruit, nut, veg, eggs). My breed of ducks lay eggs year round. I eat free most of the year. I feel better too.
much needed. I made a budget the other day. I deleted door dash and uber eats. I been cooking meals that I can eat for 2-3 days (spaghetti, pot roast, mac n cheese). I been shopping at the dollar tree as well
I love how you think. So smart and aware of yourself. I think the same way but it’s very helpful to hear others think the same way. Smart woman! You are awesome!
I stopped using a dryer and hang up all of my clothes. I also dye using rit dye my faded jeans. I mend my clothes and make adjustments as needed ( lots of TH-cam videos on this). I purchase clothes off season from the thrift stores ( $1.00 sweaters in spring and summer). I darn any holes in my sweaters.
Hey! I've been told not to put your jeans in the dryer because the heat ruins what makes them fitted ! I have stopped putting my jeans in the dryer and I have noticed they've been lasting a lot longer :)
I saved 3k last yr...it was more but had an unexpected dental issue and car issue so there went the xtra 2k I had on the side... and im going to attempt for 2.5k this yrs...I am moving by myself in March to a studio so even though I will have full rent on me but less on utilities n groceries so Im ok...Also I will be already saving a ton with not having to buy any hygene or cleaning supplies this yr...I make my own cleaning items and I got some gift cards at work this holiday and used them to get my sustainable hygene products so I am all set to start this new journey as a single lady who just turned 50 and is excited about life again...Ive already made out my budget for the yr in *bills *emergency * savings *taxes 😊 GREAT VIDEO 💜
I have a super inexpensive home dry clean kit that I just throw in my dryer for 20 minutes! Less time than the stuff that gets fully washed and works great! :)
Excellent! I dry all my dark by hanging them. Years ago I saved quite a bit by giving myself the money I didn't spend. For example, if I used a 40 cent coupon I gave myself 40 cents. If I didn't buy a coffee I really wanted I gave myself $3. Then I put the money in the bank. I "earned" about $600.
Your welcome hun, don’t be to hard on your self it’s nice to go out to eat ONCE and awhile kind a like a treat 👍🏼 . We all deserve that little get away from the home sometimes just not all the time lol. Trust me your not alone my boyfriend and I struggled on this one a lot and so has my mom with the whole going out to eat because” there’s no food in the house” or the whole excuse of “I’m to tired to cook”. It takes times but don’t worry you’ll get there.
Thanks kyra, I followed a lot of your tips and I actually sat down and made a realistic budget. I stopped all my monthly subscriptions except for netflix and the gym! Im gonna just stop getting my nails done and use my nail polish instead
I definitely think the decor tip is a must so many ppl are putting money into buying decor for every season and im thinking why especially when these items are going to be shown for a short amount of time then be placed in a closet or attic or thrown away in some cases its really a major waste
Wow. I didnt realize people had such little self control. I would never buy clothes online unless i really needed it. I barely have a social life that involves going out to eat or drink. I guess this video validated my frugality 😂
I've been dating my boyfriend for 7 months now and we've only gone out for food 3 times. All our dates are free or walks. I still live at home and save 1/2-3/4 of every paycheck on minimum wage!
My goal is to save 20k dollars & pay off my debt . I’m almost done with one of my credit cards :) have 1 more to go & to pay off my car... this quarantine has been helping!
Thank you so much for this video it helped me alot. Love your videos, they're very informative and you explain everything so well. Hope you have a great year!
Shop off season... It's Boxing day after Christmas! 😁 Yes I splurged on a few items of clothes I definitely needed (I needed new jeans 👖). I keep a budget so if I wanted something I usually buy off season or thrift for high quality items. I try to avoid the cheap quality clothes because those are not worth it...trying too get them slowly out of the wardrobe...just replacing a few at a time...
Aww so sorry I’ve been MIA lately I’m going to try my best for this new year to post as much as I can for you guys💕 fingers crossed on this one considering my full time job literally sucks up all of my time :(
Kara or anyone, what do you think about Instacart? It’s the app where u can order your groceries online. It’s like 3.99 delivery fee or 35.00 for the year unlimited amount of orders. I am the type of person where I go to a store for 3 things and come out with 20. The stores are designed for people like me with several tempting displays. Not to mention saving on gas as well and ofcourse time. I love in Miami. The traffic is crazy here and it’s over populated.
Thank you, and I beg to differ on that. I’ve been doing it for years and I haven’t had any smelly clothes, as a matter of fact my clothes smell 10x better when I hang them to dry 🤷🏻♀️ not sure why. I feel like if you don’t fully hang them correctly (like spread them out) then maybe they will stink but I’ve never had that problem before.
@@Living.minimal I had a couple of friends who decided not to dry their clothes, and smell was awful, but like you said, maybe they didn't dry them correctly
Who else has some big savings goals for 2020?! ❤️ we can do it everyone! I have a feeling that this is going to be a great year!

Hey. Watch out for Banks and fees. ATM fees. One gas station atm wants $4.50 to talked out your own money. Banks are thieves.
Ayyy 1st💃❤

How can you not like pasta??
Everyone’s different, I know quite a few people that can’t stand the texture of pasta so they always pass on it.

Nice tips, but drying your clothes at home by hanging them makes them stink
