Greetings from the UK. My first experience of Sleep Token came by accident. I was decorating my son's bedroom in the winter of 2018, and had left TH-cam on autoplay, when an hour into painting the walls, Jaws came on, and I remember just stopping what I was doing and just listening. Unfortunately, I didn't get to check either the song title nor the artist before the song finished and moved on to the next artist! I then had both the chorus and the synth line living in my head for the next few months while I tried to discover what I had heard. Fast forward a few more months to the Summer of 2019 and while browsing TH-cam, I came across The Offering, followed by Higher and was totally captivated! I then searched for more songs by them and immediately rediscovered Jaws! Been an avid fan ever since! I am fast approaching my 60th birthday and have experienced many great bands and artists throughout my life, but very few have impacted me the way Sleep Token do. I am finally getting to see them live later this year in November, and it may well be the last gig I ever attend. I am tired of attending gigs on my own and feeling like the sad friendless old dude who's trying to stay relevant, lol 🤣. Sorry for the long response! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
I was made a fan last year with their first 3 singles last year and how his voice is mixed with how all 3 songs were so different but equally perfect. I was a fan since. Then, I heard Take Me Back to Eden and was obsessed. Saw them live in May and was the best concert I have ever attended.
I just discovered them last year and I was just blown away by how incredibly intelligent and beautiful the music and his singing was…literally the most incredible music I’ve ever heard, it just resonates with me on such a deep level. I was lucky enough to see them in Tampa on their US tour in May! I couldn’t believe they even came to FL? Not many bands come here these days…not like they used to! Side note…do you notice what sounds like sirens subtly in the background that start around 8:22? You have to listen sooooo carefully
I'm so happy you found your way to Sleep Token, they are absolutely magical!! I'm so happy you saw them live, their shows are incredible!! 💙 I saw them in Germany a couple of years ago before they really broke through, they were the opening act for 30 minutes. That was NOT enough for me! I'm dreaming to see them live, headlining. Their shows look like a dream! I have to listen to that siren sound!!! 💙

Hi Micha! I became a ST fan very indirectly. I saw this video: th-cam.com/video/fin1zB4CEkA/w-d-xo.html and then fell down the rabbit hole. I'm an old guy and haven't been to a concert in 25 years until I spent a small fortune to go see the "Teeth of God" tour in Philadelphia back in March. I have seen everything ST has on their channel. The song writing is exceptional, the production quality is beyond reproach and the emotion in their music is undeniable. My favorite ST video is: th-cam.com/video/EDYXv5fECjQ/w-d-xo.html where Vessel is essentially doing one-man show, facing away from the audience his face hidden and his mask off, lying on the piano next to him. Thank you so much for your heartfelt reviews. Your love of music is something I can relate to - it is healing.
