A nice visit at the beach and we found some critters. Yay, on the ocean and got those sails full. Kai staying strong and looks like Coral is pulling through.
We try to keep these two as happy as can be. Kai was born for this life it seems, I guess we chose his name well. But poor Coral will eventually grow out of this sea/ motion sickness we hope, like I did.
Great video. Have a W33 in our boat. I switched to a serpentine belt before our Bahamas trip last year and it was a key upgrade. I felt your pain watching this episode, constantly worrying about v-belts burning up. I did that for 5 years. Spent 11 months Canada to Bahamas, never once had to be concerned about the serpentine belt, just checked it periodically while doing oil changes. Installed a Electromax Pully upgrade in order to do this and it was very easy to do. Nick, Stacey & Mylah aboard ‘Bellos’
That would be a good upgrade for sure. We did find some work arounds (more solar) but we could still use an alternator upgrade in our future and I do like the idea of upgrading belts and pulley to serpentine at some poin. So it can handle closer to 100amps since we now have a 60amp DC to DC /mppt from renogy but can't run it as it works the belts and alternator too hard.
👍👍👍

Thank you so much!
Great episode. Sam Holmes home port is Oriental, he has a little shop not far from there.
Thanks a bunch Dane. Totally missed that highlight, maybe another time if we go back that way.
Alex, did you cringe when you heard them pronounce “ Beaufort” 😂
You know it. And it has to be pronounced differently in North and South Carolina. I always get them mixed.
