No matter what has happened or will happen with MoC , his playing days at OSU has brought me much enjoyment over the years. Here it is 2019 and I still watch that season. It was magical.
This is my favorite OSU OOC game from 2002 aside from the NT. Just the remarkable start of something great. I can never forget Brad Nessler's pre-game of this. Remarkable.
Bunch of weird MoC comments in here... sure, he kind of blew it. But we got a national title out of it, and he eventually turned his life around--he's a motivational speaker now, and helps a lot of kids in the same situation he had.
You've got that right....his early success went right to his head and I believe he took a lot of bad advice. He could have been one of the greats of all time. Still, no national championship without him that year. Hopefully he is truly getting his life straightened out.
why the heck did tech put Ohio-freakin-state on there scheduel in 2002, i bet if we played them these days it would be closer than this especially last year when we had graham harrell
Justin Mann this post was made 8 years ago. Eh yeah it’d probably been a closer game 2010 for 2-3 quarters but that Buckeye team with prior and everyone had a knack for pulling away late. I’d say end result would’ve been a 17 point Buckeye win.

The beginning of a legendary season.
man, this was when Wes Welker was at TT, and they said he would never amount to anything after college (football wise). Amazing...
It's kinda awesome seeing Wes Welker playing before he went on to be one of the best receivers of his era.

Thank you for the video . Clarett's debut and Jenkins was really good , really good .
I remember being at this game, I was six years old

By buddy kep telling me "Clarett is going to be a beast". I thought Lydell would be the man. OOPS, on my part.
Man look at that run blocking. Amazing play by the offensive line. Too bad we didnt have that last year.
Maurice Clarrett was the greatest there NEVER was......so much wasted talent & untapped potential ! Sad but true!

Has Mike Leach not gained about 200 lbs since 2002?
I can think of no other player in the past 20 years who wasted more talent to become absolutely nothing than Mo Clarett. What a waste.
Wes Welker sighting! Go Pats!
Omg. There were like 20 off tackle play calls that got massive yardage. What was TTU doing on D? LOL.
Texas Tech opted to play in the Pigskin Classic, and they were paired up with Ohio State, vice versa.
Nah, that was just Maurice. The OL wasn't really that great.
And yay for '02 games! Bout time you put some up.
I wish Pryor was like Craig Krenzel
I was at this game
@TxTechRox123 So this was before he was locking players in sheds?
Not fair. Benie made a bad OL look good. Boom makes a bad OL look bad.
Big Ten muscle at its finest.
Haha, true dat. If you can't stop the run almost any B1g team is going to beat you up ;)
The Buckeyes dominated in this game. Can't wait for the Buckeyes to be this good on defense again.
some trash tds from welker. who knew he'd turn into what he is today. Bradys' slot receiver lol.
oh what a good team to play jk
Big 12 no run defense nuff said... and clarett oh what would've/could've been...

Haha, this post has not aged well ;)
