To answer your question: Yes! Specific reviews of different notebooks are very helpful! I would love to see different writing and drawing tools used in the C.D. Notebook, particularly. My husband bought me one (my Christmas gift was an order from my JetPens wishlist, and he gave me the package unopened, because he knows what makes me so, so happy; it included this notebook, so I'd love to see what writing implements YOU would pair with this lovely, silky paper!
Rhodia has been my go-to paper/notebooks for years. Paper can be an individual thing, but it’s perfect for me…and an ivory option is fantastic. It really is great for fountain pens, gel pens, and felt tip…my 3 go-to’s. The grid is perfectly spaced for my handwriting, the ‘grip’ of the paper is not too harsh, not too slick…it’s perfect. It doesn’t smudge or bleed..and I press hard, so it doesn’t indent into the next page either. I also like that they have notepads/journals in about every size and binding type to suit anyone’s needs. The orange or black is a little boring…but, since I usually get the orange, it means it’s always easy to find! The perfection of the paper makes me not care about the boring cover. Can’t recommend it enough! (Nope, don’t work for them, just happened to pick one up at a stationery store about 25 years ago (because I like grid notebooks and they weren’t super common then in the US,) and was in love at first write 😉 Negatives? I love it so that experiences with other planners left me wanting my Rhodia paper…so I’m reluctant to try some of the other tempting paper you offer…It would be great if companies made little samples of their paper that a mail order business like Jet Pens could include in something else you buy. I always appreciate things like that, because I don’t feel like I’m risking buying something I’m going to hate, and I’ve just wasted a bunch of money. Just an idea…it wont give you the feel of the entire bound notebook/planner/journal but might encourage someone branching out from their old-standby, and a few small squares of paper put in your order for the customer to try would be great!
Thank you for this video about my favourite notebook and paper! I have several Rhodia notebooks (the Webbie and the Goalbook), as well as Rhodia A5 and A4 notepads. I love Rhodia paper, it's silky and wonderful with fountain pens. I use the notebooks as planners and journals. To answer your question: Yes, I would love more videos like this one, using different notebooks
I have several of these notebooks and they are wonderful!!! I esp appreciate some of the quality details such as the bookmark ribbons, table of contents, binding and the pen loop. It would be nice to have a comparison video about the different paper qualities for sure… the paper in the Rhodia notebooks is very smooth, with a very fine texture, almost silky. I also greatly appreciate the info about whether or not bleed-through occurs when writing with different inks. I really adore Jet Pens; thank you so much for great products and great customer service!
Definitely! I especially want to see more videos using the blank notebooks, large size notebooks, and fountain pens or gel pens that work with each book. I love my gel pen but I also journal and want to be able to add things like washi tape, stickers that stay and more to my books. Arigatogozaimasu
That fountain pen setup is the exact same products I’ve used for years with my writing. I love the pilot iroshizuku ink. The kujaku color is my personal favorite and I use these rhodia notebooks and that same fountain pen ☺️ I love it.
i have a rhodia webby and it is great for bullet journaling and taking notes :) I'll have to give the zebra sarasa mark on a try! i've been having trouble with smearing when i highlight 😭
random but i'd love a video on the cheapest fountain pen friendly notebooks for college etc as in dollar per sheet. I'd also take into account that if the sheets can only be used on one side, the price doubles!
I'm on my third or fourth Rhodia Webnotebook at this this point, and I love the silky-smooth ink-friendly paper (my Lamy Safari 1.1 mm stub is one juicy pen, and this paper takes it like a champ!). These notebooks are a good choice and have served me well. However, I'm probably going to switch over to Midori MD or something. The Rhodia never really lies flat, which gets very frustrating for me. I'm also not a fan of the plasticky faux leather cover.
Tips on using blackwing pencils please. Main problem when writing at the back of a written page, the paper would leave traces of graphite. The only solution so far is to put a loose sheet in between pages
This teaches me productivity 🤗✨💗 it's a good way to help me staying positive , I usually use it when I'm feeling insecure , writing down makes it better as a student 😇✨ ! I suggest you buy a notebook no matter how simple or colorful it helps you relax your thoughts and mind
Hi, do you know of any ballpoint ink that does not erase the final line or does not smear when I ink a sketch with copic markers (alcohol based), it happens to me a lot with special marker paper for sketches
The ivory paper is why I stopped using the Web Notebook. The "ivory" is so dark it looks yellow to me. If they made a white paper version I would use them again.
This was so interesting that by the end I was able to block out that awful music. I haven't considered one of those notebooks yet, but this is getting me closer. Nice review. And I really am going to have to get a Twisbee fountain pen!!

LEUCHTTURM1917 Next!!!!
Yes please
Yes!!! Would love seeing Midori MD :)
If you could also include whether the notebook lays flat, that would be very helpful. Thank you!

i'm glad jetpens is getting more creative with its editing and thumbnails
Omg I love these videos. These playlists get me to sleep almost twice a week. Please don't ever stop making these videos.
Stationary is so satisfying 😌
You guys should make a video explaining how you organize your desk. I love the containers you use! The desk looks so aesthetic!
We have a playlist dedicated to organization you might like! th-cam.com/play/PLSMVvri4yXjjNQJqofarEWcbAhqU9eQex.html
Enjoyed the whole thing. Especially the outtakes.
That first blue ink is gorgeous!

I've been trying to find a quick explanation about the difference in the blackwing pencils, and this finally gave that to me. Thank you!!!

Your passion for art is so inspiring helpful to make oneself try even harder to improve and transmit ones feeling on a paper thank you for sharing
Also worth mentioning that the cover overhangs the paper more than with other notebooks and protects it extremely well.

The bloopers are my favorite part 😂
I love this video style. Very fresh!
I love the kitty drawings! 🥰
I got one of these after watching the DIY Pinebook Planner video. I absolutely love it with my Zebra Sarasa Clip pen
That fountain pen setup is the exact same products I’ve used for years with my writing. I love the pilot iroshizuku ink. The kujaku color is my personal favorite and I use these rhodia notebooks and that same fountain pen ☺️ I love it.
I much prefer the Rhodia paper, but the slightly narrower form factor of the Moleskine means it will fit in a jacket pocket.
I love love love my rhodia notebooks!!!
Loving these videos, including the bloopers :-D
the most beautiful thing you can see before you go to sleep
Great video it really helped me a lot 🤩

Ink pens ✒️are beautiful 😍

not sure oil and alcohol can be made to like each other like that, but Platinum Carbon Black will solve the overall problem
That's just what happens when you mix oil and alcohol based inks. I'd recommend using a different ink with copics
Thank you
Yes, please! I also don’t get the hype about moleskin.
Me too. I have no idea why Moleskines are so popular. There are so many notebooks that are better in every imaginable way.
Can you please give me some tips to study for exam and i am in class 5th
Pls

Hi
Hiii first
💜💜💜💜💜💜🇧🇩😍
im so tired of these ivory and cream colored pages, I want rhodia to make webnotebook with white paper so my fountain pen inks can pop T_T
clairefontaine 923 is this same paper in white, cheap too, but the binding has no chill so it's hold-open-till-dry
The ivory paper is why I stopped using the Web Notebook. The "ivory" is so dark it looks yellow to me. If they made a white paper version I would use them again.
SECOND
2 hours ag(
The Japanese do all of that but with a 50g paper lol

First!
3:00 - newsflash! Designers do not work with "#2" pencils. They are not in elementary school.
there were no ways to use a notebook
"thick paper" they say when it isn't even 100gsm lmao
