Have used these for over a year and are very bright. AUXITO Error Free 912 921 T15 LED Bulbs 2000 Lumens Bright CSP 9-SMD Plug and Play for Backup Reverse Lights, 6500K White (Pack of 2)
You can get non-polorized bulbs. Also, change the brake light with a flashing red LED bulb and the turn signal with an amber LED (they flash twice as fast). And yes, there are brighter LEDs.
🙏. Awesome video and thanks for letting people know about my channel. I hope another brand will work better for you but still won’t be as bright as it looks. The combination of these lights and the rear view camera helps a lot . Keep the great work fellow element owner😎😎
@ClintSearcy If u want the best led reverse light bulbs. I know few good ones. 1: Lasfit canbus led reverse light 2; GTR Lighting - carbide series 2.0. Both of those look very identical. Just different color, different brand, and more pricey. But it depends on the lumens. One says 1200 lumens. The other is 1600-1800 lumens. Way better than the ones u have. That’s gonna be worth the money the. Now if u want the best of the best, is 3: the GTR Lighting - I-LED. One of the most insanely brightest bulbs on the market. So either one of them, is from $45-$130. Look for one of those.
@@clintsearcy3252 the best way to do that. And if u want to learn more, go checkout at headlight revolution on there TH-cam channel. Look for about T10 bulbs, the brake lights, the best led low/high beam lights, the best led turn signals and reverse lights. They have tons and tons of amazing led lights to see. Ur gonna love it
I've just installed some zevo 921 size LEDs and it is a vast improvement. I think there's a couple different build models in the same 921 size and I got the one that is a larger flat metal plate with one LED in the centre on both faces of that plate.
That is a disappointment. Are brighter LEDs available? I switched over all the interior lights (except the console and instruments) to LED. That was a worthwhile upgrade. This worked well for the E, an older car, but beware, cars built within the last 10 years have a CAN bus system that tends to cause lamp malfunction if not compatible with LED.
Sylvania led's are not that bright, and it's for a reason' the longevity of the bulbs and the warranty, they do not overpower them. Not to mention Sylvania's are expensive. Much brighter LEDs on the market, however they most likely will not have the warranty Sylvania carries. I've tried Sylvania LEDs a few times they're great reliable bulbs they're just not bright enough. Much brighter Brands like Autoone or JDM astar and still carry decent warranties for their products.
However I have zevo led. Which those are brighter than standard sylvania led and incandescent bulbs. We have two sylvania zevo T15 on our 2nd gen and 3rd gen Toyota sienna . And they are defibrighrer than stock. It illuminates beautiful. Major oem plus. U could say these zevo bulbs can be as brighter or brighter than other modern vehicles wirh led factory reverse light. They make 2.2W, making 220 lumens per bulb. Definitely recommend zevo led. Plus that lifetime warranty. These are reliable.
@ClintSearcy Did u try the Sylvania zevo T15? The brighter version than what I had before? Those are $23 a pair? It my be expensive from u, but these zevo version are brighter. So it makes 2.8 watts, that’s 250 lumens lighting output. Which brighter than ur stock reverse lights. Those regular ones makes 140-160 lumens. So it is a downgrade. Saylvania - ZEVO versions are the brighter version. A bit more expensive in general, but it’s better than regular. So I would try that. Find those pair that shaped like a tennis racket.
@@clintsearcy3252 it’s worth a shot. I seen others with T15 sylvania zevo reverse lights. And they love it. So they will have two different options. I want to see that looks like a tennis rack. If u can or get the chance to make a video about it, I would l or to see that particular bulb with a tennis rack shape one. Again, that’s the zevo lineup.

I may try those out!

I'm sure there are some better ones out there. I may try one more LED before I switch back. Any recommendations?

I love your channel. This one didn't work for me but it's not the end of the world. :)
@@clintsearcy3252 I love both your channels!!!
thanks for letting us know, sorry this was a let down because I almost done this... But I do know I will be using LED lights for my plate :)
Every LED plate light I’ve tried flickers
These LEDs work well and I like the whiter light bit I'm looking for brighter backup bulbs.
I just dodge that bullet thanks for posting this.
Glad the video helped.
I also bought them but had to go back to regular bulbs all of them to bad cause they are expensive to thanks Clint.
I ended up swapping these out to "AUXITO 912 921 LED Super White Lamp 6000K" which are much cheaper and work better.
Get the zevo led. They are a sense of amount of extra light above and beyond to ur incandescent bulbs. Worth $25 bucks and a lifetime warranty.

There are!
i did it and a lot brighter
That's good to know.
LEDs are intended to use far less electricity and last longer.
I think you're right. But this LED isn't good for the application I was using them for. I ended up with some different LEDs that I like.
