Mason Pearson Popular hairbrush is an amazing hairbrush. Mine has lasted around 20 years and despite being used all the time, especially when my hair was long, it still looks like new. I've cleaned it almost every week. amzn.to/3ROUKgu

I bought mine in London in 1999 and the sales lady was so persuasive, she made me forget about how expensive it was. 25 years later, I still have it and it’s the best beauty tool I own.

Quality lasts! I’ve owned the one I show, for over 15 years.

You'll really like Mason Pearson. They're really expensive, but wow, do they last! Just take care of them, like their instructions say.

I got mine popular one yesterday and I love the bristles... But! It electrifies my hair sooo Bad :-( is IT normal? I do read that this is normal at the beginning, but I'm worried because otherwise everything of this brush is just wonderful :-(

My hair is very fine and staticky, but doesn’t get more staticky when I use it. I would use a humidifier to increase your home’s humidity if your hair is still staticky while using it. It shouldn’t increase static.

You don't rinse it? I don't know about a year ago but now it's made of plastic, not wood.

Mason Pearson brushes are still made of wood. They’re constructed the same way they were over 100 years ago. The pricing and the way they work justifies the price tag of over $200 US Dollars.
If you own a plastic brush and you haven’t paid anywhere close to that amount, it isn’t a Mason Pearson.
I’ve owned and taken exceptional care of this Mason Pearson hairbrush, for over 15 years. It still looks like new.
There are instructions that come in the box, including a Mason Pearson boar’s hair cleaner. You use mild soapy water. Never submerge the hairbrush. Instead, submerge the cleaner. Use the cleaner on your brush, out of the water. Do not rinse, just let your hairbrush dry upside down.

Oh okay. I saw a review on Amazon and someone was saying the plastic handle arrived broken and included a photo but it must have been a knock-off. Good to know!

How do i know i bought a real one. I bought the pocket version but it looks like nylon hair

Mason Pearson brushes come in old fashioned packaging, like early 1900’s looking packaging, that says Mason Pearson. They’re made in England by hand and state Made In England on both the package and the brush handle. The handle also says ‘Mason Pearson’ and it might state the type of brush. Mine says ‘Popular.’ I can’t remember if my pocket sized Mason Pearson says ‘Pocket’ or not.
Mason Pearson brushes are expensive. They cost between $75-350 US Dollars.
Mason Pearson has 3 different bristle styles. The all boar hair bristles (from real boars) for extremely fine/fine hair. Mix has both boar and nylon for all hair types. The full nylon has only nylon bristles for thick hair.
The pocket Mason Pearson costs between $75-140, depending on type of bristles.
Because Mason Pearsons are made with all natural fibers, they do not cause static. They feel like a scalp massage and distribute your hair oils all the way through to the ends.
That’s how you can tell real from fake

@@yetisplacereviews mine costs 60 euros. On the bristle it says the mason pearson
      London-england
      pure bristle.
      And same on the package

    • @yetisplacereviews
      @yetisplacereviews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

No, because it’s a copyrighted name and belongs to Mason Pearson. The fakes won’t have the name, nor the antique looking packaging. If you were to get a larger than pocket-sized Mason Pearson, it would also come with a special cleaning brush. I forgot to put the cleaning brush in the video. I’ve had mine for over 10 years now.

I’ve loved my Mason Pearson all the years I’ve owned it. Zero static, cushions while it brushes, feels like a massage. Big difference between the Mason Pearson and normal priced hairbrushes.
