Nice program 7idea Productions. This program covers the line that I live by in Phoenix Arizona. Thank you for uploading this program today at 5:00 pm MST. I really appreciate it.
Totally!!! There's nothing like desert morning or evening light shining thru the cacti!!! It's not for everyone but to me it's sublime.... and our saguaros! I love those bad boys - much respect!
Shawmut is one of my favorite places along the Gila Sub, on a busy day endless trains. Best to do a little hiking to get some elevation and just sit back and enjoy the show.
You guys said we will get to gila sub later in the YUMA sub video you weren't kidding hopefully LORDSBURG sub is next week!!!! I appreciate your top notch video productions Thank you
Sunset Limited runs LA to SAT to LA, not Southwest Chief. If that boxcar was going for repair IN Tucson, they would have crossed over at Cherry to go into the Tucson yard. Your video is greatly appreciated. Plenty more to see here in Southern Arizona. Heaviest traffic is end of the week. Don’t forget Nogales and Phoenix Sub sometime.
It would be really cool to see the Toyah and Baird subdivisions in Tx. on this channel. This is some high quality production right here. That's the line I live on and we get all the high priority intermodal from LA to Mesquite/Dallas and Atlanta
@@trainmaniac5524 thank you! We could watch him coming for a long time. We were worried that it would be too dark by the time it reached us but the scene turned out great.
Your comment near the end of the video--around 1:40:00--did not mention that the yard at Tucson included the PFE Yard, a large re-icing facility for Eastbound reefer traffic from California.
I can't wait! I live in Phoenix and love our exquisite Sonoran desert. But there's little to see here; I have to go north the see BNSF action, or south to see any UP action. I used to stop in at Maricopa, to watch the moves. But this video will show an area I've never seen - gracias from a lady railfan!!!
Well! If UP has removed the American flag from the loco sides, and the chevron and wings from the front nose, these are just generic units with zero style. Some bean counter decision, to save painting cost?! I'm inclined to always like UP, due to their commitment to steam, and #4014, but this paint scheme is heritage-busting and disappointing. ~ Excellent video! This Arizonan appreciates the narrator's perfect pronunciations of our Spanish-named towns and areas. The scenery is unbeatable - no bad pictures in the Grand Canyon state - and the roadrunner was smile-worthy. Thanks for the ride-along!
Check with the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson. "Saguaro" and "sahuarro" are pronounced the same---the letter "g" in Spanish sounds like the "h" in English. It is a wonder we still spell "guacamole" with the letter g instead of an h, except for leaving an opening for mispronouncing a favorite avocado appetizer.

Thank you!
Yay another one cool.
I enjoy seeing the countryside that the trains run through here
in this area of Arizona on the Gila Subdivision thanks.🎄🎀🎄
🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
It may be a little barren, but I like the way the light hits those hills. And I love the saguaro!

Thanks for the corrections. I honestly don't know how Southwest Chief got into the final cut unnoticed. Definitely Sunset Limited.

@@7ideaproductionsYou uploaded this at the right time. I am currently visiting Tucson! I am currently in Flagstaff right now and it is very busy!
Great film, Aaron. Another top rate feature.

I live downtown Tucson two blocks from the train museum. I watched the train coming in and out often in person or on the live cam.

There is a rail cam at Jac's Whistle Stop Cafe in Tacna and at Tucson's Amtrak station on YT.
amazing!
i feel dying self induced
And obviously, Red Rock Yard was a no-go.

Glossed over the tiny town of Sentinel.... the original SP wood depot is still there, though hidden.
The station of Colfred must have bit the dust, too.
Maybe one day the Sunset Limited will go thru Phoenix instead of Maricopa..
You called the Sunset Limited the Southwest Chief :)
Maybe it was rerouted
Did I really? Oops!
@@7ideaproductions just thought I’d let you know; wonderful videos!
@@MaoistBanker Appreciate it!
I'm just curious why it's spelled with a g instead of an h. Gŕeat video, I love Arizona

Canadian Pacific engine why does it end up so far south of the border?
Run through from KC , also CPKC U.S. headquarters.
You'll now find them all the way to Mexico City now that CP merged with KCS.
What does the cook county jail have to follow city mayor?? Forget the mayor. When arrested he has no input
Live in Yuma right by the tracks good to see up on the map through yuma
