Enjoyed watching the trains running round Nat. You have some lovely viewing angles. I also like the bridge. I was wondering when I first saw it whether you would find it was just too sharp. You did the right thing to make the change while you could and the end result is much better. Also good to see rail on the incline. I know it gave me a boost just to have it laid in places on the layout even if it was not joined up or wired. I could see what it was going to be like and that spurred me on to get it down permanently. Stephen

Thanks Stephen glad you enjoyed the running session. I’m so glad I decided to change the bridge it looks so much better now it’s been adjusted and I think I would have regretted not doing so. I’ve had the same feeling with laying the tracks on the incline and it’s my No.1 priority to get that up and running but I’m waiting for some stuff so I’ll be getting on with other bits in the meantime. Thanks again Nat 🚂

Hi Nat This looks like a nice layout that is coming along, good work with the bridge and nicely done with the stone paper covering. Looking forward to how it develops. Thanks

Thanks I enjoyed putting on the brickwork it makes it look so much better once that’s done. Nat 🚂

Hi Nat! That was a nice bit of kit bashing to get the bridge into shape! It all turned out well in the end and the angles don't look too sharp! I think the cat was a bit out of scale though! Lol! All the best, Ian.

Hi Ian, yea she is a bit out of scale even for a ‘big cat’ 😂 I had fun with the kit bashing and I’m happy with the outcome. Thanks Nat 🚂

Hi Nat, well done on the bridge customisation - I wouldn't have known about that join in the texture on the inside if you hadn't pointed it out, so it's certainly well-hidden on camera :)
You're brave letting the cat loose on the layout - beware hair in the loco mechanisms! I do like cats though, so it enhanced the video, lol

Thanks, I’m very pleased with that join. Great to hear the cat enhanced the video for you. She doesn’t spend a lot of time on the boards and after she leaves I hoover the track that she has walked over just in case. Thanks Nat 🚂

Haaaaa I see the railway inspector was back to check progress! Well done on the kit bashing - just a tip I picked up and that was to scan in the Metcalfe card section so that you can print off a paper sheet and use that to checks sizes and shape. A bonus is that if you then print it off on sticky labels you can put them on grey board and repeat as often as necessary - saves a little bit of dosh as well! Good Progress Nat!
    Regards
    Steve
