Matthew Wright should look at himself in this with disgust. He wouldn’t act like this today. Elisabeth was a great great actress and had the RIGHT view.
I mean he really should be ashamed of himself. A lot of the jokes were incredibly insensitive. Humour is subjective. Targeting jokes and his own prejudice on men performing a stereotypically feminine act is targeted hate.
The Wright show? More like the wrong show!! Elizabeth Sladen was the only one who spoke any sense here as well as the callers!! I’m not one to be offended and aren’t offended by Mr. Wrights views, however it is quite concerning how quick he was to get stroppy when someone challenged his views on the matter?! Not to mention all the larking about and forcing men in the audience to act stereotypically girly!!! Made me pretty cross. Wasn’t respectful at all.
