Are we ever going to finish this campervan? | Van Conversion Diary Week 20

So, we are classing this as week 20 of our camper van conversion diary of our VW long wheel base Crafter. We have had a short hiatus whilst Cheryl has been dealing with a slipped disc in her back.
Today’s update shows you what we have left to do and the ideas we are still toying with….we’ve been led to believe that a van conversion is never fully finished anyway!

Morning Guys, it's good to see Sunday service resumed. Starting my journey this year, just started looking for a Van with my biggest fear of buying a dud and not having a local garage to fix and MOT. What breakdown cover do you have?

Good morning 😊 it's good to be back and trying to get the jobs done before the Spring. That's really exciting news! We felt exactly the same taking that first step and not really knowing what we were looking for. Our breakdown is with our insurers, Adrian Flux. We've had it insured as a camper from the outset.

We do have a dashcam. We just pop it on when we're heading off. It was really useful when we had the Motorhome and came across some terrible drivers. Funny to watch back at times 🤣

Phil & Keeleys van is smaller than yours & doesn't have a bathroom so would take less time

Very true and no water or electrical system. Amazing job though. Definitely got our minds thinking for an adventure in a few year's time!
