In the real drift word, people help each other to be the best drivers. *selling tunes* and not disclosing the full information to help others is what kills stuff like this. There's enough people who know the "top" guys don't actually share real tunes. That's well known. As someone in the real drift world, this is the complete opposite of how things operate. We need drifting to grow. Therefore, we need people motivated to get better. Thus, information is shared. Rethink your strategy on how you want to help others. Making money off mediocre tunes isn't the way
@@Ghost-Drifts i like how you made a youtube channel literally 19 minutes ago as of writing your comment and proceeded to post this. Honestly, super productive and amazing for you to do. As someone who is “in the real drift world,” it’s very cowardly of you to not stand on business and show your true self and hide behind a fake channel you just created. I’m working on things to make them free, but I need money to make it happen. I appreciate your comment because everyone needs the criticism. But there’s a lot more on the back-end to make things happen. I have worked with companies such as MOZA Racing to share drifting wheel settings wide spread which were my actual settings, same with the Simagic settings on my Instagram page. When it comes to the tunes I sell, they’re the same philosophy I used on my VDC car on 4.0 physics. I've spent at least 250+ hours driving with those cars and translate my understandings into those tunes. Not to mention, if anybody just DM's me or asks for tuning advise, I will always tell them, not hide it behind a paywall. And actually, today (1/12/25) I’m slashing the prices in half. With that, things are in due process. And as a wise men said, “be curious, not judgmental.” - Cheers P.S. to further disprove your statement, I literally offer a free phone call or consultation for anybody looking to upgrade or get into a racing sim. Not only to shout myself out, but to also say I'm here to help.
@brandongardner404 fake account or not. I speak the truth. You would not be where you are without someone better than you helping you along the way. And it's not just you who "sells tunes" I speak for a community of people that have noticed how closed off and secretive the top dudes are. Which btw, people do look up to. We see tons of comments about tuning and car setup and there's nothing but generic information. Meanwhile, FD drivers will share their entire setup. Problem is gamers at the top want to stay at the top. Where as some in real life this sport is still growing and the more people we have in it. The more backing we will get from real sanctioned bodies. Insult the account all you want. But yall need to hear it. Do with it what you will. At least you read what I said.
@brandongardner404 not only will be helping others, you could change the game and become a real staple for the next generation of sim drifters. And i believe this would inherently help with your reputation and business. I see zero downside to offering real help to those wanting to be on the same level as you.
Hey dude! Your channel was recommended for me because I'm getting into virtual drifting. I can already control low / mid powered cars, like up to 400hp, but high hp cars like 800hp I just lose control. Do you have any tips that could help me?
@@AlissonBirck for sure! I’d say make the next step up to 500-600 hp. Make sure to have proper tire pressures (AC tire app = green) and then make sure your gearing is good. Your driving gear (3-5) not slamming and bouncing off the revs all the time.
Congrats on 4th place, Brandon! Great driving out there! I just wanted to ask your perspective on something I noticed during a couple of your battles. In your chase runs, there were transition taps that seemed to nudge the lead car slightly off their line and even causing contact with the wall. Your opponents didn’t make any contact but were a bit more cautious in their chase. From what I understand, transition taps can be seen as a bigger mistake since they affect the lead’s trajectory, but clearly, the judges saw it differently. Was there something specific they were looking for in those battles? Also, just curious-do judges reward entries without using the handbrake? It seems riskier and really impressive, so I was wondering if that’s something that gets extra credit in scoring.
Tbh I only tapped Darius off line in my chase. Everyone else was just really close, which is what is wanted by the judges. And not using handbrake didn’t give you extra points. Everyone used it accept Zack O’Sullivan, these new VDC cars have a decent bit less side bite.
@@brandongardner404 I thought there might have been a small one with Linus too, but yeah, the battle with Darius stood out the most to me. But maybe it wasn’t as significant as I thought. Thanks for clarifying about the judging of handbrake use! I was closely watching some of the runs on the normal and drone cam stream, and I’m pretty sure a few drivers-not just Zack-were not using it on entry. It works fine with VDC 4.0, but it’s interesting to hear that things might differ in 5.0. In any case, I really appreciate your feedback-thanks again!
