True simulation started with Grand Prix Legends. And just like AC, Live for Speed brought it down to a street car level. Kunos.. Stefano, the original "one and only" was doing his steps with netKar 0.53 ... and later nkPro - a sneak peek into hardcore "people's" racing sim. It is unbelievable what kind of success the team behind AC achieved. First releasing a fantastic sim, full of "TOP WORLD" licenses.. laser-scanned tracks in a matter of months (and not years). And the community never let it down either. Graphical and car mods... drifters, formula guys, historical content. Every sim would DREAM about this kind of success. EVO will bring it all to another level, now with a more immersive career, open roads, yet more strict modding. Insta-buy and then let's see where it goes. Let AMS2 guys have their fun, let iRenters share their savings with "rigid corporate rent business", let Studio397 not die and get their grips together for rF2 of LMU quality... while we all see EVO rise.
You were my 1st teammate in simracing in AC 1, thats where we.ve met, incredible its over almost 10 years since. I remember i was rocking a Driving Force GT, i cannot believe i was able to brake properly with thoes empty pedals.
Most definitely one of your best videos yet 🔥. One day I'll tell you the stories about trying to race NASCAR or Geoff Crammond's GP via dial-up connection 😂.
Let's not forget the awesome and incredible Assetto community that make the original Assetto corsa one if not the best sim game that it is right now. THANKS
When I first started VR 2 years ago, I went on searching for VR racing games. This is when I discovered sim racing. My first ever sim racing game was Assetto Corsa and I fell in love with it. I am hoping EVO will surpass the original AC.
Thank you so much! :) I don't have my H shifter mounted as it's an old TM TH8RS and haven't used it for years but I might mount it in the next days for the future videos :)
I don't think it will be PC3 type of a game also based on feedback of the people who tried it during the Expo. But yes we will not know for sure until we get our hands on it and I am hopeful, just like you that Kunos will deliver
If it EVO has the ACC physics (as Kunos confirmed it will) having the GT7 on top of that seems like a win to me! We will see in the next weeks and months :)
Kunos have not shared too much about how the mods will work but even if it's limited to high quality mods like the ones from VRC, RSS, URD etc I will be fine with that. One thing we know is that the modding tools will come out after the v1.0 release so will see how things work :)
@@SimracingGG I wish they would do that but it’s obvious that will never happen. It has to do with his engine and the modded engine content manager uses being vastly different
@tslater2005 Yes this very well could be the case. I think people have unrealistic expectations from early access releases but I think over the long run AC EVO will be fine! :)
Well that depends my sim rig allows me to go into virtual worlds where I can get away from the stresses of my daily grind which happens to be working on diagnosing and repairing vehicles cars trucks police cars big construction equipment vehicles that they use across the street in the race track but when I go home I like to sit in my sim rig pop on some Forza horizon 5 and just go for a nice drive or some acetyl Corsa or something and now I'm going to be doing it in Evo and then when they come out with the final release oh it's going to be amazing and to me simulation is important because it's something that allows me to stretch my mental legs otherwise Id be out on my r1 going 200 mph but been there done that rather sit down in a chair and do it in a virtual world in a car with four wheels and lots safer I'm getting older so things that allow me to relax and enjoy and again stretch my mental legs or keep my skills and technique fresh yeah that's important to me
Its confirmed that evo wont just have visual parts but also, parts like turbos exhausts etc. Some of it just like mods wont come until 1.0 release
Yes that's true and I should have said it in the video. it will be visual and performance tunning. Thanks for pointing this out! :)

I couldn't have said it better, thanks for sharing! :)
Was Grand Prix Legends the one that pulled you into the simracing scene?
Could be the first racing game to bring all community together. I am beyond excited
Wouldn't that be wonderful to see.. :)
You were my 1st teammate in simracing in AC 1, thats where we.ve met, incredible its over almost 10 years since. I remember i was rocking a Driving Force GT, i cannot believe i was able to brake properly with thoes empty pedals.
Absolutely brother! The good old days, as if it was yesterday... :)
That was the first wheel I bought. It was so noisy.
Most definitely one of your best videos yet 🔥. One day I'll tell you the stories about trying to race NASCAR or Geoff Crammond's GP via dial-up connection 😂.
Thank you so much mate! Looking forward to hearing that story! :D
GamerMuscle & AC1 is where I started 🤘🏻🏁
That's awesome, thanks for sharing! :)
Let's not forget the awesome and incredible Assetto community that make the original Assetto corsa one if not the best sim game that it is right now. THANKS
Absolutely agree! And because AC has so much variety, there is something for everyone. Hopefully AC EVO will be the same and more :)
I also didnt know about sim racing before assetto corsa. Ever since I started simracing, i became constantly broke buying upgrades 😂 i regret nothing
Another vote for AC...:)
And yes, I know a thing or two about buying upgrades as well :D
Just like you, I also regret nothing! Happy racing brother

That's fantastic to hear! So you are in the same boat as I am, just 9 years apart :)
Glad to see you are enjoying simracing!
How do you have a Cube control wheel in the VR view of that McLaren GT3?
This is not VR, it's triple screen :)
Thanks for this video, well done! 🙏 Please tell me why you don´t use clutch and H-shifter with the E30 M3?
Thank you so much! :)
I don't have my H shifter mounted as it's an old TM TH8RS and haven't used it for years but I might mount it in the next days for the future videos :)
@@SimracingGG Do it, it's most of fun and another level of driving. Good luck mate...
@ cheers mate! Ok will mount it and maybe the next video will be with an H shifter car :)
@@SimracingGG Just take a look how much fun I have...😉 See ya...
Assetto Corsa didn't hook only you, mate 😎🤝
That's awesome to hear mate! :)
For me it started with TOCA Touring Cars 1 in 1998 on Playstation 1.
Nice! :) Were there wheels back then? Or it was with a gamepad?
@ Gamepad. I was only 7 years old and Toca 1 was the very first game I played on PS1.
@@Konstant72 Nice one! I remember playing the original GT on PS1...the good old times :)
@@SimracingGG Times are about to get even better🚗🏎️
Grand Turismo 5 was my gateway into Sim racing.
A nice one! Thank you for sharing :)
This is not about your age.
Car passion comes from the heart.
100% agree! :)
Maybe this is the next PC3 kinda title, PC1, PC2 and then disaster 🤷🏻
I really hope Kunos don't spoil their name 🤞🏻
I don't think it will be PC3 type of a game also based on feedback of the people who tried it during the Expo. But yes we will not know for sure until we get our hands on it and I am hopeful, just like you that Kunos will deliver
@@SimracingGG Yeah, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
It already looks to be a masterpiece.
@@andreasmoller9798 yeah, I second that
@@andreasmoller9798 Yes I feel in a similar way :)
Seems like EVO is more of a GT7 for PC.
If it EVO has the ACC physics (as Kunos confirmed it will) having the GT7 on top of that seems like a win to me! We will see in the next weeks and months :)
I thought AC EVO was going to have limited modding

One thing we know is that the modding tools will come out after the v1.0 release so will see how things work :)
@ best thing he can do is add support for AC mods to be compatible with AC EVO
@@V1c._. That would be amazing but considering it's a brand new engine, I don't think it will happen. Will see :)
@@SimracingGG I wish they would do that but it’s obvious that will never happen. It has to do with his engine and the modded engine content manager uses being vastly different
i hope the hype train is real
Yes, not long to wait now! :)
I think they will get mixed reviews for putting it into early access. But once its full released it will start a new era 🎉
@tslater2005 Yes this very well could be the case. I think people have unrealistic expectations from early access releases but I think over the long run AC EVO will be fine! :)
