I've tried all of these things (Including just wetsanding and polishing with standard paint products, which give the same results), none of them will last without a UV coating over the top. For roughly $24 USD, the Cerakote kit is the only one that holds up pretty well due to the coating they provide... it's the only one I will recommend now.

@SS OFFSHORE how long does that cerakote kit last once applied to the headlights?

@@sycofya1677 I left one car out 24/7. After a year or so it needed to be redone (quick sanding, and reapply, which took 45 min or so). I just redid it over the summer. This time I applied PPF over the top of it, which should solve the problem for a long time!

Without a clear coat to give it UV protection it will for shorty again. Sealants don't last or give enough UV filtering

This Mother’s kit will keep the headlights clear for only about 2 months you need to reuse the product they provide

Mothers kit is not the best one out there he did a great job with it though

It's more of the pricey one but a good one at that. But you still need to clear coat it.
