  • This took over four hours... I painstakingly recreate my home country in Dorfromantik! Creative mode hasn't been released in Dorfromantik yet but I have a mod that allows me to to skip tiles and change the camera. As long as I have the patience, I can now create anything I want mwahahahahaha!!!
If you enjoy the video please give it a like and subscribe to the Real Civil Engineer channel for notifications when I post future videos! Thanks!!

    About Dorfromantik:
Dorfromantik is a relaxing building strategy and puzzle game in which you place tiles to create ever-growing, idyllic village landscapes. With Dorfromantik, you can immerse yourself in a quiet, peaceful world at any time and take a break from everyday life. At the same time, Dorfromantik offers a challenge for those who are looking for one: To beat the highscore, you need to carefully plan and strategically place your tiles.
In Dorfromantik you start with a stack of procedurally generated tiles. One after the other, you draw the top tile of the stack, place it on one available slot and rotate for the best fit. Thereby groups and combinations of landscapes are formed, such as forests, villages or water bodies, and you are rewarded with points depending on how well the tile fits.
On some tiles you will also encounter special objects that give you a quest: For example, the windmill wants to border 6 grain fields, the locomotive wants to be connected to 10 tracks or the deer wants to inhabit a forest with at least 50 trees. Fulfill these quests to get more tiles to continue the expansion of your landscape. The game ends when the tile stack is used up.
As you expand the landscape, you can advance into new, colorful biomes and discover pre-placed game objects that give you long-term tasks. Through these tasks you can unlock new tiles, new biomes and new quests.
    What Dorfromantik offers
    Building endless and beautiful landscapes
Unique mix of strategy and puzzle mechanics
    Relaxing and calming gameplay
    Idyllic village scenery
Strategic placement to beat the highscore
High replay value - every session is different
    Many unlockable tiles and biomes
Original Artstyle with handpainted boardgame feel
    What Dorfromantik does not offer
    4X Strategy
    Trading
    Resource Management
    Combat & Violence
    Multiplayer
Dorfromantik was developed by four game design students from Berlin. Together we have founded Toukana Interactive and want to develop many more small, original and high-quality indie games in the future.
We are happy about constructive feedback of all kinds, so feel free to contact us! We will do our best to respond to messages quickly and fix any problems that may arise. :)

There's a creative mode now. that let's you copy a placed tile and skip and lock the current tile. you can also change the ratio of tile types.
As for making rpg makes, what it really needs is mountains and maybe roads.

There's a town called Knob Lick in Kentucky, USA
and there's a road/street called "Knobfield" in Dorking, UK (it's a street name without any suffix)
"Knob Hill" is another suffix-less road in the UK (Horsham, UK)
There's a VERY SMALL not-even-a-road -road called "Bell End" it's one of those curved bits for yield signs, the little curve bit itself is called Bell End, and there's a gas station called "Bell End Service Station"
TL;DR The British are obsesses with long knobs and small bellends.

00:50: Yes you lied to us. You don't have a stack of 40 tiles. You have a queue of 40 tiles!
Stack is an list were the last element that were added is the first to go out (LIFO)
A Queue is where the first element to be added to the list is the first to go out (FIFO)
How could lie to us like that??

    • @JaharNarishma
      @JaharNarishma 3 ปีที่แล้ว

If you are so nit picky, why did you ignore the multiple meanings of stack?
Example of another meaning: a neat pile of cards, tiles or other similar objects.
Example of a third meaning: a disordered pile of a multitude of a single type of object, e.g. hay stack.

After living in Newcastle for 6 years, and suffering major anxiety and depression from 90% of the people there, burning the North East should be classed as a national service to the rest of the UK 😂😂😂

This „dorf“ in the titel of the game is german (means village). You pronounce it „doouf“ but you need more of the r. (This doesent help because you pronounce r different then germans, we‘d say r instead.
Try being more a then u after the o

For the comments asking about Northern Ireland - the video says this is recreating Great Britain. Britain is just England and Wales, Great Britain is Scotland as well, and for all four countries it is the United Kingdom (UK). You'd use the British Isles if you wanted to lump the RoI in with them as well.
