Sewing a Fall Belt and Matching Vest With Vintage Simplicity 8375 and 7985!

This week I sewed up a reversible belt/detachable waistband and a matching vest to go with a skirt I made at the end of August. The belt used Simplicity 8375 from 1987, and the vest used Simplicity 7985 from 1992. The fabric is a cotton plaid from Fabricmart and I used my embroidery machine to embroider the pumpkin and corn on the belt.
