My F-Zero 99 Crash Outs - May 2024

Ever since TH-cam started recommending Misa and MengskGX videos about F-Zero 99, the thought of uploading something about it myself has been in my mind recently, and since they are super good at the game, well, the only thing I could upload would be a compilation of every single Crash Out I've had in the month, and so that's what I'm planning to do!
I know this will show just how bad of a F-Zero 99 player I am, but I don't care, I want something to share about the game.
Most, if not all, of these crashes are my fault and bad judgement of what the snails are going to be going, really, and just poor driving in general, also, some funny mistakes (that are not so fun when you drop a rank :') ).
Since I basically play F-Zero whenever throughout the day, all of the footage that you are watching was recorded using the Switch's capture button, so I'm sorry that the video quality is very poor.

I'm just as bad at the game & I still love it, be it the chaos around me, snails rear ending me, getting booped & exploding everywhere. Dying on Red Canyon is hilariously enough my favorite thing because I capture it as a clip every time... too bad I can't share it on Twitter anymore after Nintendo was the last to kill support for it.
Now I'm tempted to play it again, how did you get the dark red boost color? Only asking because I haven't played the game in a while.
