Phil shouting at David always makes me chuckle.
I miss these guys so much. One of the best shows ever. RIP Mick!!!!!
Yes, but I love the new shows, too.
Dang I didn't know. Prayers for his family.
@@TravisBrady-wn8frMick Aston passed away in 2013. He was only 66. It’s so sad!
@@annwagner5779 I'm just recently discovering Time Team. I really enjoy Micks enthusiasm. He is the teacher I always wished for in school.
I discovered Time Team a few months ago (I'm an American). Phil's accent and Mick's sweaters (jumpers) are treasures to rival any coins and brooches they ever dug up.
I believe you meant to say that you live in the U.S.? There is no such country listed on the globe as america, but there are a few continents called the 'americas'
@chrisbetsy898 to hear you have only found time team recently is crazy to me. I’ve watched it since I was a kid with my dad. He was never happy coming home to find me digging in the garden tho ahahaha
@@End-Putler4eva oh don't be such a pedantic wanker. Everyone knows what an American is. It is common usage for someone who comes from the USA.
Well Phil's accent would of been nearly the same as THE PILGRIMS on the MAYFLOWER..
@@End-Putler4eva, talk about splitting hairs. I am sure you will pontificate about this. You come across as an idiot and I am being kind
The ep where Stewert talks about his childhood is an absolute fave of mine 🩵
Love the classics.
Look it’s Baldrick, The Sherrif and the narrator of Fat Tulip’s Garden!
Ive only had internet for about a year now. Time Team is the greatest single show ever for me! Any suggestions for medevil/ roman history shows?
You might enjoy "cooking History" with Max Miller, he's cooking historic recipes and always does a little deep dive into the Background of the Dishes! It's always nice to learn Something from a more "domestic" perspective, and you can cook it at Home and get a, quite literal "Taste of History"!😋
@@asgardianblacksmith464 thanks! I shall!
Life of .....people of time medival saxon an Tudor really interesting 😊
The history Shows with Ruth Goodman are wonderfull. Tudor Farm, Viktoriani Farm, Wartime Farm, Green Valley, AShow about the Building of Guedelon….. I love them al.
History Hit, The Great British Dig, and working your way through TT’s own catalogue of Roman digs will take you some time. Enjoy.
I grew up in a town built around a textile company. All of my people were textile workers. Cannon Mills Kannapolis NC USA. Search TH-cam for the videos of it being dropped to ground with explosions. It was huge.
as someone who grew up in the country,it hurts to see people trampling al over the growing maize.
but as a TT viewer i am delighted to see one more episode that i have not seen yet.
In the full episode the very nice farmer said, he could grow his grop every year, but to have time team diggin his land was a once in a life experience!
Really love these videos. Wish I had become an archeologist ❤
Archaeology isn't all cracked up to be what it's supposed to be?? Your on your hands and knees for hours on end and you've got around a 50 million to 1 of finding something really special. And I've met a lot of Archaeologists because I'm a metal detectorists and sometimes they need my services to scan there dig.And i always ask them what's the Best & Worst things of being an archaeologisty. And he said the waiting he said it's 30% Archaeology and 70% waiting around for Permits,Certificates/Consent forms private Land owners/Farmers.And the best thing about being an Archaeologist is the dream of finding the Holy grail (Jackpot) And these people have been doing it for 40-50 years and said you've just got to be very very lucky at the right place at the right time..
Thanks.
Is there some looping/repeating of scenes or am I having a mild stroke?
One clip did repeat and I believe I've seen the same loop before. 😅
The "tempers beginning to fray and David being yelled at"-scene does repeat...pretty much every single time the episode it is from is included in any TT video.
The repeat does not add anything to the video, so I do wonder why they don't remove it. Perhaps it is an inside joke only the team knows...🤔
Don’t worry. You are fine. Or we are having mass hysteria strokes.
@@lenajesse maybe it was originaly an little recap, after the commercial Break?🤔
Full blown one sorry so you may not see the ones on other channels.
Hope you do😊
I keeping hoping they'll find Fred Flintstone's car at the bottom of one of these trenches.
You mean his ritual chariot 😊
😊
I remember starting work after school in the mid 60s in a mill in lancaster, . the same day I left the job. why?? all that noise gave me nose bleeds.
I'm surprised Blaenavon didn't make this compilation
Curious as to what happened to these sites after the show. Do they just rebury them or do they continue to investigate?
by law they have to be recovered
Yeah, they need to be buried again but some projects are picked up by archaeology groups if deemed worth it.
Spectators, i though it was corn.
what classifies these as 'DEEPEST'?? Picket's farm was right on the surface...I mean yeah, under the plough soil but come on!!!
