@@Old2925 hello I am looking at a generator the same model as yours but I am not getting a Manuel and can not find one online, by chance do you have a copy you could scan or maybe a link to one online you could send me
Yes, my manual gives several options. See picture of oil recommendation from my manual at about 1:20 in the video. For 100f and above it says straight 30 can be used. I live in Arizona and its hot here. I would also consider 15w-40 for my temps in AZ. Thanks for watching. :)
I like many others was surprised it doesn’t use a filter. I imaging you would have to change the oil more frequently.
Good video
Thank you for the video. I’ve been looking for my filter but I guess there is noon!👍
I was surprised to see there was no filter. I bought a used 2009 5th wheel and had no info on the generator. Thanks for posting your video!
Was working on our new to us RV and your video was super helpful. Thank you!

Did your manual specifically call for straight 30 weight? Mine says 10w30. Just curious. Thanks for the video!

@@Old2925 thanks. I'll dig deeper. Still amazed there's no filter. Lol
I forgot aluminum washer the first time I did this and had a leak. I had to replace like 1 qt of oil when I pulled the plug to reinsert the washer.
Great video! Isn't there an oil filter to change????
No, there is not an oil filter on this model generator. Thanks for watching.
@@Old2925 that’s crazy. Maybe it’s a spinner filter or something similar. Thanks for your reply
Thank you for your review - keith:-)
Is there an actual filter to change on this 3600LP generator?
No oil filter, but there is an air filter
Excellent video. Where did you get the info sheets you posted during the video? I would like to download that for my records.

No oil filter?
Correct, not on this LP gas model generator.
@@Old2925 what about air filters and any other maintenance items?
Any plug that needs changed?
The manual says to replace the spark plug at 450 hrs, but change sooner if engine performance deteriorates.
