Another fine example of someone busier in their 'retirement'! Congrats on the contractor licence Jason and thank you for making the time to put this one up. 👍
Nothing at all bad about having multiple irons in the fire. Pop out a video once in a while, just so we know you’re still alive, then swamp us with content during the winter months. Sounds reasonable to me.
Oh my goodness mate, I had forgotten about your magnificent site, just imagine how devastating, 😢😢, but then again I now have 4 episodes in catching up, great to see you again, 👍 😊.
So very glad you are back online with new content. You were missed. And I have also had a crazy summer so far. Wind shears = fallen maples and birch. Much processing of bowl blanks.
Good to see you up right buddy.keep at it.i know what you mean on time.trying to sell two hot rods ,work in two gardens n putting in new tile n digging a horse shoe pond.time is not allowing some things.
I was just thinking, I've either missed or you been too busy to post a video when this video popped up, so glad to see you are OK, work of course, comes first. Some really nice lumber, so great you can cut it up yourself. Look forward to your new video's when you can. All the best, Ian
Thank you! I’m pretty sure that was the longest break I’ve taken but it was needed. I really hate to put out videos that aren’t as good as they could be.
Good Morning Jason, good to see you at the Mill again, makes great coffee time viewing. Oooh, I'd love to be able to get a few of those Douglas Fir 2 x 4's, what wonderful wood for building my projects. However the 7,000 plus kilometre drive from here to you would make me go and use the locally sourced spruce 2 x 4's 😄 I'm looking forward to more from 'Northwest Sawyer' in the coming fall. Stay safe, and thank you for this one.
Good morning from South Carolina Jason. Good to see you again. Hadn't run my sawmill in a while either. I know how being busy is. I would like to see the roof repair, that would be cool.
Yea Man, the other day I was watching that guy in Tennessee and it dawned on me I ain’t seen the “J-Boy” in a while. Glad things are well with you. Thanks for the video and best wishes for the rest of the crazy summer.
Great video, Jason. It's good to see you again. Great roof repair - quick and efficient. Is the flashing beacon a real necessity on that sawmill lol? Bill
Funny, I was just thinking that I hadn't been able to chide you lately on not using the 1" thick off cuts to build Bluebird or Bat boxes in your copious spare time; and here you are! Consider yourself as chided, (chud?) Cheers from your Neighbour to the South in Linn County
Hey man! Nice to have ya back! I can honestly say I thought something had happened. Keep busy and have the camera rollin’. I really enjoy your channel! Take care and cya on the next one!
Thank you! I’ve been filming as much as I can. Sometimes it just adds too much time to what I’m doing. I have a lot in the box though. Plenty for some more videos.😉
Was a contractor here in so or for 25 years and by age 60, i had had enough. Between the never ending paperwork, those free estimates that was always after working a long hard day, i just got burnt out. Perhaps i never charged enough to make it all worthwhile.
@NorthwestSawyer , I'm not sure, but I think it is a description of a much younger generation, I haven't stopped since we moved house , 2 weeks ago. I've had to knock back work, I sharpen knives etc, because I have to build a shed to set up in, and put my ham radio gear in.
Who says one takes it easy when they retire? LOL Seems you've made more work for yourself with this new construction company venture. It seems the old muscle memory kick in for running the mill.
Another fine example of someone busier in their 'retirement'! Congrats on the contractor licence Jason and thank you for making the time to put this one up. 👍
Thank you! Hopefully my contractor work will add to my video variety.

Deal!😉
Oh my goodness mate, I had forgotten about your magnificent site, just imagine how devastating, 😢😢, but then again I now have 4 episodes in catching up, great to see you again, 👍 😊.
😂😂😂 thank you! Don’t be a stranger 😁
It's good that you are busy Jason and it was really good to see you in action again. Great video thumbs up.
Good to see my friend at it again
The Camera view at @22:22 is Awesome & different, thanks for bringing us along
Jason, you are the man. Nice to follow you again in your everyday battle with your retirement, lol. Best regards from the North East Coast UK 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
So very glad you are back online with new content.
You were missed. And I have also had a crazy summer so far.
Wind shears = fallen maples and birch. Much processing of bowl blanks.
Thank you! I milled up some crazy cherry chunks that I hope to turn soon. I haven’t touched my lathe since March.
Glad to have you back!
Nice to see the yard around the sawmill so clean.👍
Don’t go getting used to that!😂😂
Fantastic! Congratulations on getting your Contractor's license. I am so close to doing the same thing. Good luck my friend!
Nothing wrong with a sawmill video….even though I’m on my holiday I couldn’t help from tuning it…good job Jason 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you! Now go enjoy yourself!😉
Welcome back, thanks for sharing 👍

Good to see you up right buddy.keep at it.i know what you mean on time.trying to sell two hot rods ,work in two gardens n putting in new tile n digging a horse shoe pond.time is not allowing some things.
You sound busier than a one-legged man in an a$$-kicking contest 😂 I feel your pain!
I enjoyed that.
Not a common sawmill video which was cool.
Maintenance while working on a project is so common but not seen much in videos.
Glad you enjoyed it
hi there well done john
Jason, summer time is ALWAYS busy, best time to get work/projects started or completed.
Nice job with editing all the various camera shots.

Thank you, Ian! Folks were starting to message me asking questions.😬
@NorthwestSawyer when you have to put bread on the table, no contest. Most important is you and you're family are all OK.
Nice ta see ya back at it!
Good as always my friend
Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing how work on the truck is progressing.
Thank you! I have a video I’m working on. I ran out of money for truck parts for a minute but I’ve still been picking away at it. Stay tuned!
Happy to see you again. Take your time and do what needs to be done! Life is short and there's no need to worry about us, we'll always be here.
Thank you! I’m pretty sure that was the longest break I’ve taken but it was needed. I really hate to put out videos that aren’t as good as they could be.

Thank you, Reg! Maybe we could meet in the middle.😉
Glad to see you again my friend. I live a few miles to your west in the town of Hillsboro.

Always a good day when I see you've uploaded a video brother.
I appreciate that! Thank you!

Thank you, David!
Good morning from South Carolina Jason. Good to see you again. Hadn't run my sawmill in a while either. I know how being busy is. I would like to see the roof repair, that would be cool.
Thank you! I filmed that project and plan to post it soon 😉
Good to see you back

Yea Man, the other day I was watching that guy in Tennessee and it dawned on me I ain’t seen the “J-Boy” in a while. Glad things are well with you. Thanks for the video and best wishes for the rest of the crazy summer.
Thank you! I’m going to try to visit more often😉

Thank you, Bill! It’s to remind you that the de-barker blade is spinning. It’s actually a nice feature.
Happy to see You again. Hello from Sweden!
Thank you!!
Good to see you Jason!
Funny intto
Thank you! I don’t think many caught it😉
*- Good to see you can remember how to run your saw mill, Jason.
Thank you! It felt good to make some sawdust.
Nice lumber Jason, put up what you can when you can sound OK to me
Thank you! It will hopefully be a little more often now.
Funny, I was just thinking that I hadn't been able to chide you lately on not using the 1" thick off cuts to build Bluebird or Bat boxes in your copious spare time; and here you are! Consider yourself as chided, (chud?)

GRATE TO SEE YOU BACKC😊
Thank you!
Glad you're still alive. 😁
Me too!
Anticipation has been challenging, I've had to watch other sawyers 😂
Oh noooooo!😂
Hey man! Nice to have ya back! I can honestly say I thought something had happened. Keep busy and have the camera rollin’. I really enjoy your channel! Take care and cya on the next one!

I hear ya. I’ve given a few “I don’t want this job” bids and still got the work. I’ll probably just have to start saying no to some of them.
To be free of direction and control is huge.
You are multi skilled and I wish you the best!
6:11 never understood why people continue to use “metric” crescent wrench’s on SAI. Bolts!
Nice to see your busy. 🎅🏻
Thank you!
congrats on making a video 😀 and thank you
Thank you!😉
welcome back
Thank you, Pete!
You don't call you don't write, Made me cry....I thought maybe we broke up. LOL Ron
No, no, no! You’re in my top 3 favorite Ron group. 😬
About time, you've been either lazy or busy, the latter I suspect.
Good to,see you back.
What’s lazy?😂
@NorthwestSawyer , I'm not sure, but I think it is a description of a much younger generation, I haven't stopped since we moved house , 2 weeks ago.

Please enjoy this friendly comment to tickle your algorithm.
Keep those good episodes coming. I watch every single one.
Thank you! I will definitely do my best.
Who says one takes it easy when they retire? LOL Seems you've made more work for yourself with this new construction company venture. It seems the old muscle memory kick in for running the mill.
Thank you! I’m really enjoying this new contracting adventure. Hopefully it can add to my content as well.
I thought to myself just a couple weeks ago: "Huh, haven't seen anything from Northwest Sawyer in a while."
Hopefully you won’t have to think that again😉
Good morning
👋🏼
welcome bark :)
I see what you did there 😂
@@NorthwestSawyer :) :) :)
I just hope it's a "happy" busy for you.
Definitely! Life’s too short not to be happy.
Retirement means something different
2 months is a long time between videos.
I know!!! My editing software had done an update during that time. I had to figure out how to use it again😂
