I love it that these people actually monitor their videos for questions and answer quickly.. Unlike some of them like tiny sheds..they add a video and forget about it....probably inductive of the type of service they provide after the sale!!!!

Thank you for the link. We just bought a 2012 5th wheel here in Texas. We wanted to start out with a small investment....figure out what we liked and even more important, what we realized we really need in the next one. Since we want to buy a new one we thought this was the best way for my husband and I to get familiar with this way of life....after all you dont always know that you really need something until don't have it. A $100,000 5 th wheel had better have everything in it just the way you want it when you place your order!! We figured spending $20,000, and using it nearly every weekend ( even if it's only an hour from your home) would give is a pretty fair taste for whether we like to go camping and if so what we would have done differently if and when (2 yrs) we order what we want.
This will be our third weekend in a row using our RV and we have already learned so much.
We know the next one must have two AC units, ceiling fans, all led lights, bigger kitchen with island, much larger appliances especially the refrigerator ( MUST have an ice maker!!), power outlets on both sides of the bed, regular table and chairs, 2 swivel, rocker recliners,a pantry and a place for a regular kitchen trash can!!!
Right now we are thinking along the lines of getting a deluxe toy hauler. one that the back has its own complete bathroom, a dinette that will convert into a full/queen size bed and also has a full/queen bed bunk that can be lowered from the ceiling. This would give us room for our ATVs if we wanted to bring them, give us plenty of extra sleeping space for our kids and their families and when we weren't sleeping we could spend the evenings in the bunk room around the extra large dinette playing cards or board games or watch TV.

It is tough to realize what you cannot possibly know as a first timer. That first RV you own really is a learning experience. That's why I put these videos together -- to maybe help a few folks get their 2nd RV the first time. It's tough, but I think people appreciate the effort.

Sessi was under the impression these were like revs and you could take them camping, you show one with a deck attached for 2015, guess I need to call and speak directly... All I'm familiar with are travel trailers and we are looking for a travel trailer you live in.
+Cheryl Weston - The 2015 with the attached deck was a hyper unique floor plan no longer produced. It was also a totally different type of trailer.
Big 40ft RVs like this are refers to as "Destination Trailers" technically speaking, though the phrase park models is more commonly used due to their similarity to actual park models. The main difference is these are fully self contained (have holding tanks and on board propane supply).

+Cheryl Weston: Generally customer with types of RVs are going to have them stationed at a park site & not move them. Most of the time owners of these models will put a deck up next to their camper. So the RV doesn't come with a deck -- you put one on your site.
I see in this rig there are dome lights in the ceiling but other websites show recessed can lights. Is that standard or can u get can lights. I prefer dome style.
You're looking at outdated 2016 footage here. There have most definitely been some updates to the product since this was recorded (look at the upload date). This RV basically no longer exists, but I leave it here as a resource for clients looking at things like used ones or as a place to start researching.
Why is the bedroom door used to enter the trailer? Why can't the sliding doors be used?
+Cheryl Weston: The trailer had JUST arrived at our dealership & the shipping block to secure the patio door had not yet been removed. No other reason. Nothing prevents one from using the other door under normal circumstances.

What is the max amount of people this can sleep?
Main Bed: 2
Hide-a-Bed: 2
Beyond that you'd simply need to toss things like airbeds on the floor, though there's easily room for two of those. So, depending on how you feel like chalking it up it COULD sleep 4-8.

Are you able to move it around a lot like 30 min drives to campground and back
Structurally you can use it like any RV. It's not like it's built to be parked else it will fall apart. When I refer to it as being less towing friendly I'm commenting on its size and shape. It's a giant brick of a windbreaker.
We have had people who do things like always camp with two full families that basically go dutch on a purchase & tow one of these behemoths to each campsite. They're fine for doing so. You just need a pretty hefty truck to handle the length of the coach.
