Me too. I *liked* Wildwoods before the VLounge. Then, as soon as I saw it, the game changed for me. My personal pick list was shaken pretty hard Right now... something like a 26DBUD or 28VBXL are *hard* to beat for the money
I love my JayFlight SLX. I shopped Wildwood (and Salem) and just felt the Jayco had a better fit and finish and was worth a little price increase to me. The warranty was a big deal, too.
I do feel Flight has a little tighter fit/finish overall, but that's actually largely due to the pocket screwing of the cabinetry. It tends to "suck up" the gaps when the screws are tightened whereas stapled fasteners will stay "gappy" if fixed that way
One of the commenters said he couldn't BELIEVE he watched the whole video. I KNOW WHY he did it's because NO ONE EXPLAINS and POINTS OUT KEY INFORMATION like you JOSH! I've LEARNED a ton of INFORMATION about Rv's from LISTENING to YOUR VIDEOS and the saying of buying your SECOND Rv FIRST is TRUE! KEEP up the GOOD work.
Thanks for your time, much appreciated. I’ve always leaned towards the Wildwood because of the storage and versatility inside. Great video, keep em coming 👍🏻
Super fair. They definitely each have a "Feel" about them It's hard to describe As soon as I saw that VersaLounge though... that and the strongarm jacks from the factory The strongarms you can put on anything really. But that versalounge tho...
We actually have the Jayco 29RKS in this video(2020). We love the large camp side window and kitchen counter space. I feel the 'overbuilt' qualities are what makes it track better on the hwy. I also love the fact that Jayco seems to be the only brand that builds with axles that exceed the GVWR of the trailer. Most deduct tongue weight and use axles rated for what is left.
Yeah, I do my own stunts too Josh! 😆 Really like these videos that you do, their so informative and interesting. I really had my vote on Jayco, but, Wildwood was extremely surprising, so I kind of teetered tottered back and forth between the two trailers.
My trailer is on a campsite in north central Pennsylvania, right now there is over 10” of packed snow and ice on its roof, it’s a lot of weight, I’m glad I have a heavy roof on my Jayco
Thank you for making this video. It was very helpfully! I am RV shopping from my home, comparing different brands and models before going to local RV dealers. This definitely helped me develop a list of pros and cons. Please keep the videos coming. Wish I lived closer to you.
KING bed for sure. My wife and I are amazed at how few king bad options are out there. Our first trailer was a Hybrid so we were towing a 19 foot trailer but had two true Queens that took no floor space from the floorplan. When we started looking to go to the dark side, "ridged travel trailers" we found the options that replicated those bedding accommodations only when we started getting into the 32 ft or longer. Finding a couples camper with a king bed, under 8,000 lbs is still an active search for us.
What surprises me is how many small queens still dominate even the MOTORIZED RV industry whose budgets easily double-or-more those of towable RVs yet rarely does anyone balk at it
Thx Josh. We luv your videos and your candor and honesty. Because of you, we bought a new 2024 Jay Flight SLX 210QB last week. We are happy. We are now on our 4th rv. Keep up the good work!
Ooh congrats! Solid pick there :) I'd love to hear how it treats you after a while. Also - would you mind dropping me a quick review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review in return for the helping hand?
I can understand why he watched the whole video it's the same reason I watched the whole video INFORMATION! NO BODY EXPLAINS and gives NEEDED DETAILS to a beginner buyer like Josh! Keep the EDUCATION GOING!
They're hard to beat that way. Look at the used RV market -- people RARELY want to give up their Jaycos once they have them. And the used ones you DO see are usually in amazing shape unless the owner completely neglected them
Wonderful job comparing these 2 options. Very entertaining as well. I am leaning towards the Wildwood due to the layout of the RBS 22. It really seems perfect for two people with the occasional guest
Jayco has a similar one with the 237RBS in the SLX series, but I will admit I'm very partial to the 22RBS Wildwood. I don't know why.. but it's got that "IT" factor
We have a 2020 Jayco 29RKS; love the layout! Very nice seating (table and chairs) kitchen and window option. Not to mention the value and price point. I added an electric fireplace from Costco myself and love it! My wife loves the privacy because of the bathroom access. Hey, spend two weeks in this trailer and...very comfy.
Josh, I called Bishs in Coldwater to check on the price of the SLX 8 212QB they have listed. He’s supposed to call me back. Thanks for all you do, you’re a video making machine
I truly appreciate the time you take to compare the different trailers ... I'm the annoying woman from Calif who keeps asking "Can you get a washer dryer in there?" ... well I finally made up my mine and am getting the 2022 Forest River Wildwood FSX Max RTK ... I love everything about it -lol- no washer dryer but I'll live ... :-) I so wanted to pick it up so I could meet you but the moving and packing just wouldn't let me take the time. Thanks for all the info you put out there for everyone I learned so much from you ... THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! Your sense of humor is awesome too - you should be in show business ... oh yah I guess you are !!!
Many things, the roof, It would be in the mountains in Colorado, our 2005 jayco (with no slides) has been fabulous! But when you described the beam over the slide, the was the deciding point.
We just bought a Wildwood, and will pick up soon. I really would like my husband to watch your videos. I have learned so much from you, and now have a better understanding of how a camper works as a whole, and not just what the interior has to offer. You do a great job. Thanks!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you. A camper is so much more to us than being a recreational vehicle. We live in south Louisiana, and have evacuated during hurricane season several times. We have 3 dogs, and know that animal friendly hotels are hard to find. It is important to us to have a good, reliable camper that can accommodate us during hurricane season. We decided on the Wildwood 22RBS.
The main thing that stood out was the underbelly. The underbelly of one was all one piece while the other had sections. There will be times that maintenance must be done above the underbelly. It makes a lot of sense to have the sectional underbelly as opposed to having to dismantle the whole thing to do that maintenance. I come from a tropical country and once I return to the USA it is my dream to camp in snow so insulation is of particular interest to me. Side note: I'm leaning more towards a 5th wheel as I want big propane tanks and perhaps 6 lithium batteries (expensive) to insure I I don't freeze to death. On a 5th wheel these are inside but on a trailer they are on the hitch and easy to be stolen.
@@edwinholcombe2741 Lithium batteries don't *have* to be left on the tongue of the trailer like a lead acid battery btw! You pretty much just need to redirect the battery wiring from the tongue into something like the locking from pass-thru
Josh" The diverance starts at the front of the trailer,You realy have to go no further, the Tongue is welded trough a cross bember then welded to the outside frame rail , Rockwood should do a Jayco factory tour
I know it isn't easy doing this type of video and putting it all together. THANK-YOU. I love the way it's detailed and popular brands not just someone trying to sell the newest unknown product. I'd love to pick your brain sometime about a toyhauler. Stuck between Wolfpack, Torque and The Wildwood fsx 30vc view...I know slide out system is VERY important to me and would like to try and stay with rack and pinion...Wish I knew what you know. Lol
Thank you. I put a *LOT* of time into this one (if the length of the video is any indication lol) Did one brand or the other seem to "speak to you" more loudly than the other?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Both seem to be good brands. Like a Honda or Predator generator. If you have the money get Jayco. If not get Wildwood. Either one can do the job. If I had money flowing I would pick Wildwood.
@@MLMWarriors We handle Yahama here which I'd put on a level playing field with a Honda from personal trials. But dollar for dollar.. man it's hard to beat those Predators!
This was really helpful. My wife and I are trying to decide on whether we want a bunk house model or a rockwood roo with tent beds. We really like the versalounge on the wildwoods.
I'm sort of sensing you're newer to this and in the looking/learning phase. Is that correct? Or do you have RVing experience already? I'm also curious about your towing vehicle -- that'll help me offer some potential recommendations. Short of that, here's an exercise I've found *very* useful and powerful over my years doing this. And keep in mind there are no wrong answers to these questions. Ask yourself * Do you think you'd ever regret having the benefits of a fully "hardsided" trailer vs. a hybrid? * Then, can you imagine ever regretting NOT having gone to the hardsided trailer? USUALLY the answer presents itself that way. I've often found when people are not sure which way to go choosing the option that's "one step up" for lack of a better phrase will typically serve them better long term. USUALLY it means "Do I get a slide or no slide?" Commonly folks will be happier with the space of a slide out. But Hybrid vs. Hardside is certainly a valid comparison
@@JoshtheRVNerd I actually own a 2007 hybrid by fleetwood. I bought it to pull with my small suv. I now have a diesel truck and pull another ATV trailer behind my hybrid. I am looking at doing the same thing with a rockwood roo so I can continue to pull two trailers. The only thing I don’t like about my hybrid is how much the furnace has to run to keep it warm. I would love to switch to a hardside for that reason but then I need to take two vehicles to pull both trailers. I have looked at toy haulers but hate how boxy they are. I really want at least one or more slideouts in my new trailer. I am all about space.
I had a Jayflight 264 bhw and traded it for a 2021 Wildwood 30KQBSS. I looked at bigger Jayflights but the wildwood just had more features plus floor ducted heat that i couldn't find in the Jayflights. The bunk room, huge slide, versa lounge and monster outdoor kitchen sold me on the wildwood.
You must’ve been looking at SLX jaycos because all full flights have always used floor heating Regardless.. you certainly didn’t choose badly. Wildwood is a monster
@@JoshtheRVNerd I've been trying to comparison 2 different floor plans, not sure if you guys stock these but I would love to see a comparison between a Venture touring 343VBH and a Rockwood signature 8327SB. These 2 floor plans are as close to what I'm looking for as I can find.
Some other videos the salesman give out the prices and I tend to watch their videos more and alot of people subscribe to those videos instead of the ones that don't give out prices. Why is it that you don't get into prices? It would really be nice if you would give out some prices. Love your videos and the ONLY thing that's a negative on your videos is the fact that you don't give out prices, at least the ones I've seen and I just started watching your videos for a month. Anyway enough with the hog wash and keep up the good work that you do buddy. Thumbs up on the video. 👍
We have the 21 Wildwood RK. Quality wise I'm not sure how all the mess ups passed QC, or GenRV inspection. -----The wall holes in the jam, that the door springy latch thing clicks into in all the walls didn't line up with the door handles, not allowing the doors to click shut.---I had to drill new holes in the door jams that line up. - The metal latches on the outside storage doors didn't catch the frame , and were flying open down the road driving.-- luckily I'm handy, and I welded and fabricated new longer latches. -- On the RK model, you have a long pvc pipe for the kitchen sink running all the way to the grey tank. It is hanging by multiple metal straps. 2 of the 5 straps were never connected, and it was laying across the axles. So I had to attach the straps, and shorten the other 3. --- On my personal roof inspection when I got it home I noticed 3 spots where the factory caulk bead ran out, and there was no caulk around the air conditioning unit---I caulked that, and other spots. Before you say 'well it's under warranty, so just have the dealer fix it' my reply is "General RV repair time is normally 4-5 months out. I wanna camp. And not wait for some half wit, to half ass fix it. I will do it myself the correct way , and be camping the next day"
@@JoshtheRVNerd most folks I talk to say "well it's new and under warranty, so let General RV fix it"......that takes too long. Maybe if something major goes wrong then I will send it in, but with little things I can do the work.
Thanks for all the videos and help. I would love a video on slides. Which can you move just a little and use for lunch breaks? Which should you NOT step on if not open? Maintenance? Thanks again from Texas!!!
Thanks Josh. All good info but how about the important stuff: Does one have a better roof membrane? How much warranty service is required on average for each brand? Quality of hardware? Durability of recliners, strenght of frame, suspension, load carrying capacity etc. A word on resale value.
Great questions but getting clean data on them is borderline impossible I’m afraid I am literally trying to gather stuff like this and have been for months and it’s all just a giant wad of no clarity I’m still trying though. I want the same answers you do
I hate ribbed siding. Love Jayco warranty. Over engineering is good with me. Safety is the most important to me. I like the colors on both. Windows frames etc seem to be a wash. Love the nose skin on the Wildwood. Obviously included is better than optioned underbelly enclosure. Love the stabilizers! I don't like keyed alike systems. I prefer extra crispy children Josh lol ...that's my kids saying they're lol. I would say Wildwood gets the nod for interior but I liked a lot of the Jayco interior too. As I've said before I prefer a different brand, but I would love to have some of these features. Ty Josh.
Thanks for all the input! I love seeing stuff like this. It's super helpful when figuring out how to stock our lot up! What do you have currently for comparison?
I love the warranty with Jayco. I love the VersaLounge and Accessabelly with Wildwood. They’re close enough where it would come down to fit and cost. That doesn’t mean the less expensive one wins, cost is relative. A Jayco with the perfect fit and that warranty is worth paying a bit more, but it’s hard to say the VersaLounge isn’t going to lead to a better fit by default. It works well if there are 2 of us or 6 of us in there… while the Jayco maybe works perfect for 2-3 but not so well with 6… but it’ll almost always be 2-3 of us so is it worth it to pick the one that works slightly better in the niche situations? I don’t know. It depends. 🤷🏻♂️
@@JoshtheRVNerd I’m almost thinking the best fit would be a bed for my wife and I, a U-Dinette that can fit our son or a couple and enough room to set up one or two air beds or cots. A bunkhouse would have to fit my 6’ 2” son and whatever friend he may have along, that’s a tall order as those bunks don’t seem to be very long. Weight isn’t the problem, he is a wrestler so he weighs between 145 and 152 lbs (invariably, it’s kinda important for wrestling!) and probably won’t get much heavier at all before graduation… but he’s tall. If we go to a shooting comp or camping it’ll mostly be him and my wife (5’2”) and I (5’10”). Heck, we only need a camp queen. He needs the U-dinette space! We’re Scouts so we have camping cots, sleeping bags, etc. Other than our luggage and stuff for the comps (guns and ammo aren’t light but we aren’t talking a literal ton, maybe 100 lbs total for a major competition) we don’t need a huge trailer or huge carrying capacity. It would be nice to be able to bring a golf cart but, we don’t have a golf cart anyway. So I’m sorta leaning towards a Wildwood 22RBS kinda model. Roomy, not overly huge and not overly expensive. But I still need to get a truck then the camper. Gotta sort out some income stuff first. I’m getting there. Your videos have helped a lot. They made me consider lots of things. On a southern MI note this hot weather has made me consider AC issues a lot more, lol! I don’t know how southerners do it. I’m like, “Go outside? Are you insane?!? It feels like 98° out there!”
I think I like the jayflight over the wildwood but there's too much seating...next thing you know people are going to want to visit. Perhaps a shorter version.
Josh are you concerned at all what will happen to fuel prices in the future now ? We are enjoying cheap gas now due to many reasons , I won't turn this polictical but it is what it is . People will have to make hard choices with their extra money , 5 bucks a gallon at 9mpg is a hard pill to swallow .
Am I concerned about fuel prices? *EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.* But it's well beyond my control. Before I was the RV Nerd I worked at a trucking line and I saw first hand how even a slight change in fuel prices affected the final prices of EVERYTHING Most people don't realize that whether it's a raw material or final product at some point LITERALLY everything in this country spends time with a truck getting moved
Wildwood has a better couch and dining space for seating. Like all the light from the windows but they don’t look like they open- so sad. I don’t like carpet in the dining area - just shouldn’t be there. Are 12 volt fridges off grid friendly?
Josh have you ever did a walk through video of your own personal trailer? Your a information center on the videos what do you own and have liked or disliked..
Yes and no? lol Since I get to camp so rarely I offloaded my personal RV & just grab a member of our rental camper fleet when I do get to go camping The funny part? It's the same camper. A 264BH Jayco Jay Flight like this one th-cam.com/video/iKAv6oGVFRk/w-d-xo.html So in a sense i've done a Lot of tours of my camper lol
They've been out since July basically. Almost all of our 2021 videos are of the updated generation of Jaycos. Updates vary greatly by series -- far too much to try to list here for you
No ladder on the wildwood. I don’t recommend anyone buys RV without a ladder. Plywood, Goodyear tires, and inter grated a frame The jayflight is better. Any RV with a ladder is a no buy for me. Appreciate your video and wisdom. Blessings to you
@@matthewbegin3462 *Anything* with seals needs attention as the RV Ages. Avoiding strapping stuff to the ladder is a great way to extend its life. They're not made to hold cargo while bouncing down the road
So is it safe to say the Salem has all the same benefits/disadvantages listed for the wildwood in this video? Been heavily considering a wildwood/Salem but like the color scheme of the Salem better.
I don’t have any actual data to revive you so I can’t give you a problem answer an answer. I highly doubt either has any significant variance in that area. None of these things are aerodynamically optimized in the slightest
I've been noticing alot on the bed sizes. Personally. A true queen in a camper would be the biggest bed that anyone would eeally need. You figure. If you're tired enough. You'll sleep on it. I'm 6'3" bare foot and that's at the end of the day, so I'm probably 6'6" in the morning and a true queen matress does me just fine.
I know this is an old video but would like to say the reason most vehicles are black, grey or white is because of the instant gratification of the American public. If available, many other colors would be chosen. Red and green would be better represented if dealers would carry them on their lot. But in order to get the most vehicles with the most variety of options, they have to limit their stock. Dealers will rarely let you order the color of your choice. They have to move the vehicles in their inventory or pay interest on them. Every month a vehicle sits on the lot, the more it costs the dealer. A new car dealer in town has exactly one car on their lot that is not white or black. They sell Dodges, Chryslers, Jeeps, Rams and Chevrolets. How can anyone buy a new vehicle that is any other color?
Whether it’s campers or cars or anything else dealerships don’t set the market. They reflect it Dealers do not care what colors they carry. They care about what you want to buy and stock according to those trends I saw the same thing happen with Winnebago trailers. They used to offer multiple color exteriors Over time what was the most popular? White and Silver. So what did dealers stock? White and silver. And if a dealer doesn’t let you order the color you want, then know another dealer will.
The issue isn’t lippert. They make the frames yes, but they build them as instructed by a manufacturer Lci has no say on what gets built atop the frame or how it’s loaded
Jayco has a 2+3yr warranty. ALL Jayco fifth wheels have allowances for full-time RV'ing. It does not transfer to 2nd owners during the warranty phase. Keystone has a 1+3yr warranty, but it auto-transfers during warranty phase. So they each have neat little quirks about them
Without more specifics we are unable to say either way. But long trailers will always push around short wheel base vehicles regardless of their capacities
Personally I have a WW 27RKS that we pulled with our 2014 Suburban. 8k trailer was just too much, think safety of your family first please. 3/4 ton 2500HD was a game changer.
My goodness you give awesome reviews. Really you do. I just watched this. I really wanted the Wildwood you showed. I just had a little problem. You were taking about the Jayco! You said Blu-ray really never came about!!!!!!!!!! What are you taking about. Maybe you meant 3D Wich I love and based my home theater system with a 120" screen and projector around and now you can only find old 3D movies but Blu-ray movies??? No no no, that's what all movies are now printed as. Blu-ray. It's hard to even just find regular movie CDs anymore. Was that just a goof up or were you serious? I have the same problem with my truck that only plays Non Blu-ray movies except really old movies like Blu-ray CD.
Blu-Ray never really found its way to the RV industry in any large capacity. They went from stereos to CD Players to DVD and Blu-Ray kind of got skipped basically. You'll find a few rarely here or there but that's about it. RVs today often have only an AM/FM/Bluetooth unit with HDMI inputs to allow owners to expand their system as desired. Integrated DVD function has actually become fairly rare interestingly.
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok really get what you're saying and absolutely believe you. So sorry to be gruff. Can't believe I watched the whole thing. Good info. I would buy the Wildwood.. the lounge and the strong arm stabalizers tip the scale for me.

Good job Josh. Comparisons help so much!
Great info josh defiantly leaning towards the jayco brand there a little heavier but solid construction is more important to me
They're hard to beat that way.
KING BED is must have for me!
Love your humor along w your very informative videos
Ok I need to add that I do appreciate your time and effort on making theses videos
This is awesome feedback. Thank you Fred for sharing a little sliver of your life :)
Josh, I called Bishs in Coldwater to check on the price of the SLX 8 212QB they have listed. He’s supposed to call me back. Thanks for all you do, you’re a video making machine

I truly appreciate the time you take to compare the different trailers ... I love everything about it -lol- no washer dryer but I'll live ... :-) I so wanted to pick it up so I could meet you but the moving and packing just wouldn't let me take the time. Excellent job putting this content out. Very informative.

Thank you for the comparisons, as before I go back to the Jayco!
What "makes" it for you?
Many things, the roof, It would be in the mountains in Colorado, our 2005 jayco (with no slides) has been fabulous! But when you described the beam over the slide, the was the deciding point.

We just bought a Wildwood, and will pick up soon. I really would like my husband to watch your videos. I have learned so much from you, and now have a better understanding of how a camper works as a whole, and not just what the interior has to offer. You do a great job. Thanks!
Well thank you for joining us, Allison! Glad to have you with us :)
@@allisoncompeaux3981 Man.. definitely makes you appreciate the peace of mind and security it represents on a whole new level..
I appreciate your effort to put together this video. I learned a lot. Thank you.
I'm glad because man.. I spent a *LOT* of time on this one LOL!
What new tidbits did you pick up along the way?
Agreed!!
Ask yourself
* Do you think you'd ever regret having the benefits of a fully "hardsided" trailer vs.
@@dstanworth Once you have the space from that slide there's reaslly no going back

You must’ve been looking at SLX jaycos because all full flights have always used floor heating
Regardless.. you certainly didn’t choose badly. Wildwood is a monster

I will do it myself the correct way , and be camping the next day"
I don't feel "warranty will fix it" should ever be the default answer. I'm sorry to hear you've had these challenges Brandon
@@JoshtheRVNerd most folks I talk to say "well it's new and under warranty, so let General RV fix it"......that takes too long. Maybe if something major goes wrong then I will send it in, but with little things I can do the work.

Thanks Josh. All good info but how about the important stuff: Does one have a better roof membrane? How much warranty service is required on average for each brand? Quality of hardware? Durability of recliners, strenght of frame, suspension, load carrying capacity etc. A word on resale value.
Great questions but getting clean data on them is borderline impossible I’m afraid I am literally trying to gather stuff like this and have been for months and it’s all just a giant wad of no clarity
I’m still trying though.
I *absolutely* love that
The VersaLounge and Strongarm Jacks hit me really hard when I look at Wildwood
It depends. 🤷🏻♂️
Man.. it’s like you were inside my head when you wrote this.. thank you!!
O.K. one question. Jayco has the better thermal package. Can you option the Wilwood up, to something almost as good? Great job as always.
No. You Cannot. They just use what they use basically.
A lot wash ing. Going on here this video is very clean :)
What now? Did autocorrect get ahold of you on this one?
I think I like the jayflight over the wildwood but there's too much seating...next thing you know people are going to want to visit. Perhaps a shorter version.
Plenty of good options for those of us who are happy with just our own company too (Jen- Josh The RV Nerds other intern)
*EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.*
But it's well beyond my control.
Before I was the RV Nerd I worked at a trucking line and I saw first hand how even a slight change in fuel prices affected the final prices of EVERYTHING
Most people don't realize that whether it's a raw material or final product at some point LITERALLY everything in this country spends time with a truck getting moved
Wildwood has a better couch and dining space for seating. Like all the light from the windows but they don’t look like they open- so sad.
I don’t like carpet in the dining area - just shouldn’t be there.
Are 12 volt fridges off grid friendly?
Wouldn’t it be great if they just put Sleep Number beds in the campers. It would be a $5,000-$10,000 option though I suppose.
Yeah that's the rub with good bedding.. they can be costly and there's no guarantee everyone will enjoy them
An just think both should use 1 big sink splits sinks are hard to wash big pans an pots plus those big sinks that flow over front look really good
I am also a fan of the "Farm Sinks," but there are still quite a few people who dislike them
Wildwood also has an RK like that Jayco.
Yep! We tend to carry them here as well (when we can keep them in stock that is!)
Wildwood has been ON FIRE this year
Love the utility of the VersaLounge but the color scheme here really reminds me of a pontoon boat?

Hey Josh, love the video! Any idea when Jayco 2021.5 models will start rolling out and what the half year changes might include? Thanks man.
They've been out since July basically. Almost all of our 2021 videos are of the updated generation of Jaycos. Updates vary greatly by series -- far too much to try to list here for you
Traded our Jayflight for a bigger camper, love having more room but my Gulfstream is definitely not Jayco quality
Jay flights are rarely the lightest or cheapest, but they’re definitely built
No ladder on the wildwood. I don’t recommend anyone buys RV without a ladder. Plywood, Goodyear tires, and inter grated a frame The jayflight is better. Any RV with a ladder is a no buy for me. Appreciate your video and wisdom. Blessings to you

So is it safe to say the Salem has all the same benefits/disadvantages listed for the wildwood in this video? Been heavily considering a wildwood/Salem but like the color scheme of the Salem better.
They're literally the same trailer. The exterior color is THE ONLY variance between them.
Jay Flight for windows , furniture
Ty for the "why" behind the "What" there!
Does wildwood underbelly create more drag or lift compared to jayflight?
I don’t have any actual data to revive you so I can’t give you a problem answer an answer. I highly doubt either has any significant variance in that area. None of these things are aerodynamically optimized in the slightest
I've been noticing alot on the bed sizes. Personally. A true queen in a camper would be the biggest bed that anyone would eeally need. You figure. If you're tired enough. You'll sleep on it. I'm 6'3" bare foot and that's at the end of the day, so I'm probably 6'6" in the morning and a true queen matress does me just fine.
I prefer the 80" long beds. I can deal with the short queens though
Just wish the wild wood had led lights on the outside like jayco. Thats the only thing id change
Which lights where? Both have awning lighting if that's what you mean. Or is there other lighting elsewhere I'm not thinking about?
I think he means the marker lights. The Jayco has LED markers... Wildwood doesn't.
@@chuckpeters9644 AH! Thank you chuck! Words are hard sometimes LOL
They reflect it
Dealers do not care what colors they carry. They care about what you want to buy and stock according to those trends
I saw the same thing happen with Winnebago trailers. They used to offer multiple color exteriors
Over time what was the most popular? White and Silver.
So what did dealers stock? White and silver.
And if a dealer doesn’t let you order the color you want, then know another dealer will.
I read some bad stuff about lippert? frames, that they bend easily, anyone know anything about this? Especially with weight distribution hitches
The issue isn’t lippert. They make the frames yes, but they build them as instructed by a manufacturer
Lci has no say on what gets built atop the frame or how it’s loaded
Is jayco warranty, better than keystone I’ve got a Avalanche and in a couple of years I’m looking at a Montana under 75k probably a 2023-24
Jayco has a 2+3yr warranty. ALL Jayco fifth wheels have allowances for full-time RV'ing. It does not transfer to 2nd owners during the warranty phase.
Keystone has a 1+3yr warranty, but it auto-transfers during warranty phase.
So they each have neat little quirks about them
im curious if i could tow 25-35 feet travel trailer like one of these behind a mini SUV
Without more specifics we are unable to say either way. But long trailers will always push around short wheel base vehicles regardless of their capacities
Personally I have a WW 27RKS that we pulled with our 2014 Suburban. 8k trailer was just too much, think safety of your family first please. 3/4 ton 2500HD was a game changer.
king bed absolutely NOT and please give me the bigger side tables

My goodness you give awesome reviews. Really you do. I just watched this. I really wanted the Wildwood you showed. I just had a little problem. You were taking about the Jayco!
