@@ramyRHM Well "Meta Knight's Revenge" from Super Smash Bros Brawl, the theme most associated with him, is really just like 2 or 3 songs that play on the Halberd levels of Super Star combined. This new theme is like an actual new theme for him.
I think that the reason why this music fits the character so well is because it tells you the story of the character we have get to know over the years. It speaks, at least for me, about the story of the fiery, honorable and powerful knight, who used to protect others (once passing over their own will by dictating his strict rules) and their reality from fearsome monsters. These actions were performed by not always doing the right thing, but by carrying out the job it had to be done in order to be successful. This theme also communicates a tale of negation and later acceptance. A knight who ended meeting a powerful being, whose abilities were tested multiple times by this knight, with him denying the fact that he could pass the baton, since doing his job was not exactly a path of roses. It also talks about redemption and acceptance. Soon, the knight's own power was surpassed by this being, and said being became more than an ally, they became... friends. And every fight they performed afterwards was a celebration about their friendship and their long story together.

I always loved the extremely brief bits of the Meta Knight boss theme from Super Star during 0:45. Obviously the Revenge of Meta Knight Ending theme is the biggest callback in this song but I love that they gave a nod to that song too Oh damn I wasn't expecting a solo accompanied by that specific part of the song. hell yeah
