Assalamualaikum, For anybody who wants to remember/reffer later on Way 1 (Simple version): Step 1: right intention, like act of worship Step 2: ensure water reaches all parts of your body Way 2 (Sunnah): Step 1: Right intention Step 2: Say bismillah and wash your hands Step 3: Proceed to wash private parts Step 4: Follow steps of wudu (can delay washing feets at the end) Step 5: pour water over head 3 times Step 6: Wash entire body ensuring water reaches all parts(Sunnah way start from right side and then left side) and remember to wash your feets If you did not Wash it during wudu.

I am a proud muslim and I love my religion but, today I came to the realisation about five pillars of islam and how I miss reading namaz, I did had exams and pressure but it gives me no excuse to skip namaz from now on I will inshallah try to read all sala’s to make myself and my Allah happy and will try to be a better version of myself Inshallah
The best way is to attend madrasa/ Islam classes and don't wait for videos. You will be asked one that why didn't you know this earlier? I was waiting for the video as an answer wouldn't be of benefit. Thus we were told Iqra'a and the ahadith mentioned that we should seek for ilmu (knowledge)

This video helped me alot. I thought I was doing it the wrong way only to find out this hole time I was doing it the correct way. I asked around and alot of brothers confused me. This made my intentions go down. I began to get frustrated. Next thing I knew, I was no longer making the intentions which to me was the most important part. @Life is a choice I too have ocd ...and iIl admit I waste water too but ive started to use way less water over the years...tutorials and explanation help me do ghusl less obsessively and thus speed up the process it went from a few hours to just a few minutes but i till hit near an hour at times...i wash the handles and taps with soap...best life hack ever...i rub the soap on with my hands leave it i do something else till then when i feel its been over 20secs i wash it off...you know you can use sop in ghusl i think you can clarify this by Dr Zakir Naik he said it in a video once if you find it its good....to me if i put soap on before and no its not there im clean also I saw a video of Sheikh Asim al Hakeem about how much you should rub around your skin he just simply lightly rubs over the top of his hand and partly around it slightly under too so that helps too....you can look them up.... the reason i choose soap is because soap is simply the separation of water and oil so if soaps stays on anything for 20 secs and you wash it off it is clean to me....another thing to remember is most of the things from our bodies wash off with water and soap either by dissolving or sloughing off....I may have written to much i hope this helps...

I remember my head chef at my first job was Algerian Muslim, I already knew that you clean yourself before prayer but now I realise after seeing the steps of Wudhu that he followed the exact same ritual of cleaning every time. Takes me back to those days. I already appreciated his dedication, but now I understand that there is purpose behind every move he did. I remember him praying in my presence and I felt honour in his comfortability to do so around me, and pretty much nobody else. He's a good man. there are 3 farz of gusl. 1- mazmaza - taking water in to your mouth but do gargling 3 times 2- istinşak - taking water in to your nose but take it deep in and clean by pushing out with air out of your nose 3 times 3- wash all your body 3 times starting with your head than your right side and finally your left side when you do gusl you do not need to take wudu till you break it... this is what i learn in mosque.

There are three duties in Ghusl: (1) rinsing, (2) pouring water in the nose, and (4) pouring water all over the body. There are five Sunnahs in Ghusl: (1) Washing both hands up to the joints (2) Istanja and washing the place where impurity is on the body Pour water three times. There is no obligation in ghusl.

There's farz in ghusl as well Please correct me if i am wrong 1. INTENTION 2. MOUTH WASH (with gargle if not fasting) 3. Nose watch (Properly upto the point of the delicate bone in the nose) 4. Washing body as there's not a single place on your body that is unwashed ( Not even a single spot remains unwashed )
TAKE NOTE: The simple version mentioned in the video must also include washing of the nose and mouth by putting water in them. Edit: I came to know that there is a difference of opinion among scholars in whether the ghusl is valid wihout rinsing the mouth and nose with water and الله knows best.

In one lecture I heard wayyy back when (hence I am doubting my memory, and understanding a bit now) after ghusl we can perform salah straight away, since the wudhu was part of the ghusl. I remember him praying in my presence and I felt honour in his comfortability to do so around me, and pretty much nobody else. He's a good man. We Could Clean Our Souls If We Try to Follow All These 10 Steps .
there are 3 farz of gusl.
1- mazmaza - taking water in to your mouth but do gargling 3 times
2- istinşak - taking water in to your nose but take it deep in and clean by pushing out with air out of your nose 3 times
3- wash all your body 3 times starting with your head than your right side and finally your left side
when you do gusl you do not need to take wudu till you break it...
this is what i learn in mosque.

The fardh (compulsory) acts:
1. Right intention. Start with Bismillah.

There are three duties in Ghusl: (1) rinsing, (2) pouring water in the nose, and (4) pouring water all over the body.
There are five Sunnahs in Ghusl: (1) Washing both hands up to the joints (2) Istanja and washing the place where impurity is on the body Pour water three times. There is no obligation in ghusl.
The first three mentioned as duties are actually the obligations.....

This is how I take a regular shower. I had no idea I was doing ghusl the entire time.

1. Intention
2. Bismillah and wash hands
3. Wash private parts
4. Follow steps of wudu
- hands
- mouth and nose
- face
- arm/elbow
- wiping head
- ears
- feet
5. Pour water over head x3 - rubbing hair so water reaches roots
6. Wash entire body - starting from right side first

Edit: I came to know that there is a difference of opinion among scholars in whether the ghusl is valid wihout rinsing the mouth and nose with water and الله knows best.

Do you need to use shampoo or conditioner if I wash my head or a body wash if I wash my hole body?
Then I think it comes under the way of doing complete shower. And for that, You need to make wudu again after it to perform salah

step 4. wudu (u can delay washing feet until the end)
step 5. pour water over your head 3 times
step 6. wash your entire body and wiping over your body with your hands as you do so (wash right side first)
step 7. finish your wudu by washing your feet
