[SMRT] First Revenue Service Trip - Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B

- Maxson Goh Films the revenue service debut of trainset 601/602, a 2015 Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B, which first entered passenger service on 16 April 2017 at 8.39am at Ang Mo Kio MRT Station towards Jurong East.
The new train features SMRT's new livery on the exterior as well as new electric door actuators, along with STARiS (SMRT active route information system) 2.0 on large LCD information panels.
The train can only run on the new Thales SelTrac Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system.

657/658, 673/674, 675/676, 681/682 and 687/688 Debuted on main EWL for the 1st time today
When the train was first released everyone was very excited, but now, everywhere you go on the North-South Line (for now), you'll see C151Bs non-stop and it's not exciting anymore.
Uh now like hundred c151b in north south line and 5 or less in east west line why north south line wont give to east west line???

I really wonder how they are going to keep C151B's white exterior clean and maintain the LCD-based STARIS 2.0 properly in the long run.
well it been 6 years and they are not broken/faded so I guess they managed to maintain it. (for now)

Actually not much different but what i'm amazed was the livery. Brought back the olden MRT Corp times & Trans Island Buses era. Plus the STARiS 2.0
now we have two white trains in the MRt system Siemens C651 and Sifang C151B.

NS2 Bukit Batok: West Mall, Bukit batok Polyclinic, Bukit batok bus interchange, Bukit batok post office. NS11 Sembawang: Sun Plaza, Sembawang Park, People's Association (PA), Sembawang bus interchange, 3M.

there is a new train the door has a screen the train is C151C
C151C only different is tip up seats and exterior is the same as C151A except it has Red and green stripes. It has STARiS V2 same as C151B
