Congratulations. I had an 08 model and loved it. Keep that front double sprocket greased after every ride. They burn out easy. The down chain from the front miter box tends to stretch excessively. Keep it adjusted or you'l do an endo. In fact constantly check all chains but specially the front miter chain. Always carry a full tool bag. Specially carry a chain repair kit. Stuff gets caught in there and snaps them. Your suspension is mostly just the low pressure tires. The lower the psi the smother the ride. I ran just under 3 psi. But the general rule is whatever your comfortable with. Have fun and go to Rokon World to introduce yourself. We're all video junkies. Have fun.

I plan on doing tons of exploring when spring come right now the snow it about a foot and some area in the forest are up to 3 feet nothing the Rokon can't handle but Nevaeh has a harder time handling that much snow. I'll probably use the snowmobile until the snow drops a bit. Cheers!

@@mrpiccaso6517 It is a great machine indeed! Just try one before buying one. They are slow mover but they will get you almost anywhere. Avoid clay and rock mix together it's a bad idea I did that last summer. I do now own a quad as well for fast ride and group ride but the Rokon is my favorite solo machine. Cheers!
Love it but my hip not so much haha. Had a hip surgery 3 years ago. Bike still run great I use it to go to work with my dog in the trailer behind. Closing to 2000km on the machine. Thanks for asking
The tank is good for about 8 hours and in theory if I fill all tank and rim the distance is estimate and about 600 miles.... Which would be very painful to ride all at once. I do about 2 week on a tank using it to go back and forth work wich is about 6 ish km (3.7 miles) everyday. I'm also hauling a trailer with my dog in it she love to go to work. It's a great machine if you're not in a hurry and it will bring you where you need to go. Right now it's park I have a new clutch coming. Cheers

Hello, On the shot show 2020 video he stated that the Rokon would tow 3,000 lbs and you say 2,000 is there a different tow package that enables to to tow 3,000 vs 2,000? Thank you.
I went right off the web site. I don't think they have different tow package nor would I try to tow 2000 lbs with one either unless I was on dirt road and the trailer was on 2 wheels. I've got a quad unstuck from a rut and that's about the max I pull with my machine so far. I do bring my dog in a trailer tho. Cheers.

Of course the base of the rack is 350 mm or 12 inch and the tubing is 1/4 inch 5 mm smaller underneath I can't get the exact dimension since I would have to remove the cargo rack. Hope this help.

@@LACARRINDANGA My apologies its 305 mm not 350. I'll try to get the accurate measurement at lunch. It's a bit hard to get a measuring tape since there's the rack and under the rack I have the wheel well.
The max speed is about 50kph no idea how fast a bear run. Where I ride we had a bear once in 8 years. Lots of people walk and ride in our trail and most wild life we see are deer, squirrel and the odd skunk. Thanks for your concern.
@@percyfaith11 Yeah the bear would catch the bike before you would reach the 50K mark. This bike is meant to tow and go slow where no other machine can bring you it's not a speed machine. But I love to ride it.It's quiet and somewhat comfortable to ride.
A bit late for the reply but the shipping was free to the dealership but I had to pick it up myself it was about a 20 hours drive in total. I drive a diesel truck so it was not too bad i do about 1200km aprox 750 miles per tank. Cheers!

Indeed! The only one that come out of the box with slow speed but power for days!
If I knew of someone or others to ride with I'd get one of these bad boyz. Have wanted one for manyyy years, n not getting younger.
Yeah it's a fun machine when you can go it's speed. I usually use mine with my dog for trail ride and atv camping. Groups ride are now I'm the quad.
studs will only help on clean ice i recommend chains if you really think you need extra grip

No, this is a Manitoba ATV plate it is require for us to be allow on the trail and ditches.

Not the mototractor the Ranger which is road legal I believe does come with a fuel meter. With 10L of fuel this bike engine can run for about 8 hours.
I would like to know about the speedometers?
It's a generic GPS speedometer I got from eBay for roughly 70$ Rokon offer a speedo option but on the Ranger only which is the road legal one.
