If you have an Asian grocer in your area, you might want to check them out. The Asian grocers in my area have great prices on things like spices, Asian noodles, certain produce (really depends on the item), tofu, rice, etc.
Hey there I absolutely love your videos I just found you the other day and I've been binge watching your videos ever since I'm all about trying to save money because I want to make a move to a different state in a few years so I could live around my family and I know it won't be possible without watching videos like these to learn tips on how to save thank you for everything you do you're awesome!!!❤❤❤😍😘
I so envy your store selections! We never get deals like that around here. We love our discount stores too! We live in an Amish area and there are several of these types of stores operated by them here. I also wanted to tell you that I had never heard of Kodiak Cakes brand until I'd watched another one of your videos, so when I saw them for $1.50/box at my favorite discount store I scooped a couple of them up because I remembered you recommending them!
Also, at Kroger they have discounts for whole stock of an item with large yellow tag with all black pricing. They specifically do this in the meat section. Got Jimmie dean for .99 that way. Also, for the by the lb near the actual meat package will have the original price and not the discount price but will ring up at the posted price.
In my area, I rarely see jimmy dean for .99. I used to see it all the time in TX, but it doesn't happen often in Idaho. However, the few times I do see it (mostly at albertsons), I buy them ALL!! :)
I feel like I've never seen clearance prices when shopping Kroger! Maybe I have to pay better attention (although I used to do some secret shopper stuff and was in stores frequently...yet still don't recall pricing like this!)
Go at different times. If I go too early my store hasn't marked everything down but if I go too late it's picked over and gone. Also walk the isles and learn how they mark closeouts on shelves and in cases. It will pay off once you learn their patterens.
I love watching your vids. But. On the clearance items, do you check the expiration dates? Just asking coz I don't want your lovely family to get sick as I did once buying clearance items.
We live in I.F., so I know which discount store you are shopping at. We always buy our olive oil and bread products there. We've noticed, though, that you really have to check expiration dates there...lots of items are from even back to 2015. I was going to buy a big block of mozzarella cheese there last week and noticed the sell-by date was summer of 2016!!! I love shopping there...just gotta keep an eye on dates. P.S. we live near the Smith's you shop at, and my son in law goes to school at the college in your town. Small world! :)
So true! I've never had a problem with their bread, but I have found .75 loaves at the Franz bakery WELL within date, so I'm liking them right now for bread. I saw their cheese advertisement on Facebook and was sad I wasn't going to be there, glad to know it was old. :( That's my favorite Smith's!
Just wait until 2022! 😳 I have been binge watching old Christine videos. Wish we could find clearance prices like this now. Not only have regular prices gone way up but the clearance prices aren't as good either.
“Liquidation” and “warehouse” are also words to use when you are trying to find a discount grocery store.
if you added some kind of meat and more cheese the 3$ fiesta dip tray can be mixed up and used as burrito filling/Mexican lasagna/taco bake
So jealous! My stores never ever have these kinds of discounts!

I loved it when your daughter chipped in ❤️😊❤️

$1.50 a box??? Whaaaa?? I would have bought 20!
I am gluten intolerant and the B Free bread is the best of any gluten free bread. I always shop Smith's marked down bread for those.
I shop this way too, but be careful not to buy any bulging packages. It indicates spoilage and potential botulism.
I wish stores near me had sales like these!
Love these videos!
Oh my gosh, how young Hayley looks here.
