The wages of sin is the Second Death. Jesus saves us from that.

Well presented thank you. Although sin can also result in physical death in most instances

*Separation from God is spiritual death.* In my experience 60yo, 30 years a Christian it's *also physical death.* I have seen the physical death of others many times, as a clear result of their separation from God. _This usually happens slowly._ In women they become barren, bitter and stressed, in men and women their physical health suffers over time. _The solution is simple - _*_privately_*_ acknowledge what you have done to God (Matthew 6:5-15), and start to follow His ways again._ Thank God for grace. Jesus is Lord.

If everyone lives forever, even the wicked, then the gift of God is not eternal life because everyone has eternal life!

it does mean corporeal death as contrasted by the second part of the verse eternal life

Adam and eve sinned and died spiritually ( the Spirit of God left their Spirit. Jesus, who is God intended flesh, died for all sin for all time. So that when we believe in Jesus we have the Spirit of God restored to us forever because there is no sin left unforgiven that could cause the Holy Spirit to leave.

    Luke 13:1-5
    New Living Translation
    A Call to Repentance
13 About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”

Well presented, but I just do not understand why God allows ruthless and brutal dictators, kings and monarchs, and so forth, to kill so many innocent people as a way of retaining power. Christians tell me that God will deal with those people later, such as when they die, but that does not save the lives of those that were murdered. We hear about the miracles of walking on water, and turning water into wine, but there is never an occasion of turning tanks into bugs, for example. Why is God so indifferent, when clearly the aggressors are easily revealed? Why does he not protect the weak and vulnerable? We can say that the evil ruler will receive death for waging sin, but that is no help to the those that were slaughtered. I never reach a place of understanding over this.

Sir, God didn’t create this world so he can babysit, God didn’t create this world so he can have every control of man’s life and choices. God created man to be good and righteous but because of disobedience and selfishness men chose sin. God does not ignore the innocent, remember that God is eternal, us having eternal life is more important to him than us living abundantly here on earth, there’s a reason why Jesus humbled himself on earth to suffer for us, all the apostles suffered for the gospels sake. There’s a reason why the Bible saids no eye has seen what God prepared for those that love him. Eternal life is what God wants for us, the Bible saids God will deal justly with the wicked and save the needy.
Isaiah 2:4 “He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.”

@@jesuscameforrelationshipno4165Your response does not address my post. It is merely another dance with words that I often read from Christians, but thanks anyway.
