And when the camera cuts between them, it's like we're traveling across time and death to bridge them together.
I always found the Sarah Palmer scene disturbing in this episode as well. Not just because of what’s she’s watching on tv, but what it implies. So much is said about her 25 years of living in pain and guilt in one scene and in the house were it all occurred. (Grace Zabriske does a fantastic job of portraying it this season). Great reactions as always, and Parts 1 and 2 will always live in my memory, the first time seeing new Twin Peaks on tv in years, as they were aired in a single night.

You are completely right. When I watched this live, this was shown along the first episode. But when we get to the Roadhouse scene, I completely started crying. It’s such a beautiful joyous scene. Great way to describe it.
My experience of watching The Return as it came out was going ”This is fantastic” one episode, and then ”wth am I watching and what is that thing?” the next… In the end, I think it’s one of the most fantastic productions ever made from an artistic point of view, but I understand it less and less the more I try. I’m very glad it happened, though.
I think I had the same feeling. Altogether it was an impossible mixture of enthralling, exciting, heartbreaking, funny, exasperating, frustrating and alienating, all in turns.
I think "Mister C" is the most common name for Bad Dale. I also call him Evil Coop. Also.. don't worry. It's completely normal to feel stressed, sometimes even a little frustrated when you watch Season 3 for the first time. It's all part of the journey.

If memory serves, Lynch made that when he discovered ants in his house. He told the story to Jay Leno one time. He said the ants removed the entire head of cheese in a day or two. It's difficult when watching one episode a week at a time, but it's to train your brain to see a scene, and then to put the pieces together. Especially if a scene is played twice.
