Danny you don't know how much I needed this. I lost my first husband to cancer November 30 2015 & wasn't looking for another husband but God put this man in path miraculously in 2018 and we married June 2nd 2019. I've never looked backed. I'll never forget my first husband, I'll always love him but David is my husband now and I live for him and the dear Lord.
I feel the same way Danny ,being around people that uses foul language goes against my spirit.
I've used urine for years. People have actually been using it for 100s of years as fertilizer. I agree, people have no problem putting cow manure in their garden but are revolted by human urine. Yea, I know where it comes from too!
Yes sir I learned this from my grandparents! I grew up seeing and consuming the results, just did not work well this year d/t drought, still no measurable rainfall in Abilene Tx

Danny, I lost one of my brothers on July 4th. Albeit he was very sick. He couldn't get passed the past, and it prevented him from doing anything to help himself. He depended on me to help him, but even my words couldn't get through. Your words have SO much meaning, thank you. 😚

Thank you for everything you do. I have been studying and getting prepared for homesteading some land for over ten years. I bought some land last year and started to clear it. The government came in and made me give it away because we had no structure on it yet. I had spent my entire salary on it to get it ready. I ended up with a stroke in January and by the grace of God I survived the onslaught brought on me by the Devil. I am now living in Oklahoma and looking for another piece of property to homestead but getting a house on it immediately. I have listened and learned many things on your channel and will continue to do so. I Love your Christian ethics and what you say. I jujst wanted to thank you for what you bring to the world.

Another wonderful porch time Danny, thank you. I still cringe at some of my foolish mistakes over the years but I know I can’t change them and God has forgiven me for them. My life is not how I thought it would be but I must admit, I love my life and am so grateful for all the blessings the good Lord showers me with, not that I deserve them but He blesses me because He can. I have to remind myself still at times that I cannot change the past and that the reason the rear view mirror is small is because we are not heading that way. My friend put bubble wrap over their greenhouse trees and plants to retain the heat and black tubs of water which heated up during the day and kept warmth around their plants….they didn’t wrap the bubble wrap tight so condensation or heat ruined the plants…..
I guess that freeze drier and dehydrator will be working hard the next few months….fruit powder is so good mixed into smoothies or made into your own fruit drinks….remember Tang? I wonder what chemicals were in that…? Dehydrated fruit skins can be used for all types of cleaning products….Miss Wanda is so blessed to have you as a partner that is so interested in growing your own food….
My cell died right after you said that you & Miss Wanda both had prayed for someone. I put the cell on charger & went to raised garden beds to pray. Jesus prayed in the garden so I knew that was perfectly good. My young turkeys looked on. I asked for wisdom for the upcoming problems & discernment about who might be my late in life spouse(56)

I looked back a lot. It's tough when you're trying to make the person you love see eye to eye with you. Makes you wonder what the heck I got myself into? Sometimes a person marries to quickly because they're not over the last relationship either through hurt or love. If you loved the person and he or she dies, you'll always remember that person because or some things about that person that the new person doesn't have and you start making comparison. The other if the relationship was nasty or the person makes your life miserable then you probably will take it into the new relationship and treat the person the same way thinking they ought to get you. You who are innocent will get hurt because of that person's past. This is not good at all and will be damaging to the relationship. Best to treat each other with respect and love. Wish a lot of men was like Danny because of what he said about doing everything for his wife to make her happy or satisfied. Some of these men can take a chapter from that book and apply it to their relationship. I can never understand someone who is by your side no matter what, and you never see that person as the apple of your eyes. Why I told mine, I'm the one by your side with no one else around to help so you might want to look into that and show respect. Why I think a lot of people divorce or separate because they're tired of verbal abuse, physical, mental, and disrespect. I believe everyone should love and respect each other. Do things out of love and not holding on to someone because they have money and you hope they dies because you can't stand them. Do it because you care though the relationship is tough. Some men will never see eye to eye with their wives no matter how much you preach to them. Just got to do what's make you happy and have the peace of God to be able to think, breathe and relax. Find that peace. Some of us hang on because we want a companion and afraid of being lonely but not in love with the person, we just like them. Don't waste anyone's time doing that because that person could find someone else who loves them for them. Communication is the key not control.
You should look up the old movie " if a man answers ". Sandra dee and bobby darin. All about training your husband...lol. besides some smiles the only thing you'll learn is that it's not so much how your man acts but how you treat him

The Lord gives me strength, it’s only because of him I have persevered. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Groceries are super expensive. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Faith over fear.

Morning Danny and Wanda, I want to ask for prayers, I lost my Mom in June and I have been having a difficult time with it. I've been using the rearview and replaying everything that happened while I was staying there taking care of her. My Dear Danny you are also talking to me.The devil has been dragging me down. I have a history of depression and I can't tell you how much this Porch Time means to me. I'm in a shell. You just put into words exactly how I feel.
Well, I will surely pray for you. I've been struggling myself lately so I understand. God doesn't want us to let the past have a hold on us. How can we ever excel if we do that? I'd like to share some scripture.

Loved today's Porch Time, Mr. Danny! The language thing is something I don't want to be around, either. I use to swear like a sailor and I'm a woman. It is not becoming and every now and then it tries to rear back into my speech, but over time I have gotten pretty good control over it and I find the best way to keep it out of my vocabulary is to not associate with people that do. About the urine, I have read that other countries use human urine to fertilize their gardens. My husband fertilizes the azaleas and pine trees everyday!
About the cussing, some people have such a habit of cussing that they do not even realize they are doing it. One of our friends called our attention to this and we were embarrassed so we stopped. We came from good non-cussing homes, too. It was very offensive to our parents.

Good points to ponder. One thing I have learned from spending a lot of time with Native Americans is that they will definitely have each other’s backs, especially family and extended family and friends.

The phrase "a pot to piss in" comes from Roman times, when the urine was saved specifically for its use as fertilizer. Garden Like A Viking has some great videos on this fertilizer subject.

I just read that because of the drought municipal waters supplies is using cleaned out sewage and putting that in our water supply . They could have been doing that for a long time. We could be bathing in it. What if you eat out no one knows how the food is cooked. I eat at home. I try to cook as healthy as I can. When I wake up in the morning I bless my lips my mind and my heart to not say bad words. I find this helps me.

Excellent porchtime! One of your best! I have lived in the past for a long time. I don't normally share this but your porchtime really hit home this morning. My youngest daughter, 18 yo, was killed 5 years ago and the world stopped. I lived for that "rear view mirror". In the last year I finally recognized what I was doing. Things are changing . . . Looking forward and trying to live each day in the present. Will always remember my daughter but what better place for her than Heaven and with the Lord. And of course lots of prayer to get me through.
We leave our Satsumas on our tree every year...we pick them as we need them, we typically eat off the tree into January (we are on Alabama gulf coast)

It's amazing how our Heavenly Father works. He's always right on time in everything. Before I watched porch time today I had been wallowing in the past. I've made so many mistakes and grievous errors and sins in my life. I've second guessed decisions that I know were the right thing to do. I've been lead after much prayer to back away from certain people who are affecting me and my husband in a very negative way and then second guessing those decisions. And here you are with much words of wisdom and I know Father put those things you discussed on your heart because so many other people needed to hear it too. Thank you and bless you and Ms. Wanda. We eat a lot of sweet potato leaves. We use them instead of spinach. We cook and freeze a lot. I've used my own urine for years and it makes a HUGE difference.

@@grandmadeb2412 set yourself goals every day regardless of how small they are. I'm 45 and still do this to get through some of the days. My back is great at times. People in general still don't see anything here in Ireland. The shops are full and people just don't want to hear anymore bad news.
I've learned to grow carrots, potato and tomatoes. It's a start and hopefully next summer I'll add another vegetable.
Little by little. Don't look at the big picture or it becomes too much. Glad to hear that you've still fire in your heart. That is the most important thing of all. Where there's a will, there's a way!! Best regards 💪☘️💚

I really wanted can tomatoes and juice I got enough to put away 4 jars. I had few carrots alot better than last year. I seem have alot trouble with fire ants in or around my garden those little boogers are aggressive and painful sting or bite. We have to keep going giving up is never no more on my heart. Wow! Where to start? You just described my earthly Father and myself. I beat myself up because I would rather spend time by myself and with God. That is when I am most at peace. But, when my earthly Father passed I had people come to me saying for example I met your father serving him a cup of coffee a conversation ensued about God and he began to witness to me. There where people lined up in the parking lot at his funeral. That is when it hit me although my father was a quite and humble man he spoke when it really mattered and touched so many people lives. Wow! What a testimony to leave your children and all who knew him. So it matters to move forward cause God puts people in your path even if you are not a social personality. Danny, I too am not a people person, I don't go looking for people, and some of my church friends don't understand. I worked 25 years in a true hell whole. I just like my garden and plants. But sometimes God say talk to this person or I want you to visit this person, I obey...Praise GOD for every day that he gives us, and he works in ways with Love and strength. I remember from my nursing classes years ago, while explaining the urinary system, one of our instructors kept stressing that "your kidneys live to get rid of pottassium." Makes sense, then, that urine would be full of potassium.
