My grandfather was in the Royal Navy and his ship was torpedoed in the Indian Ocean during WWII. They were on the lifeboat for 40 days and nights. They ran out of water and were dying of thirst. As they knew they were dying they all knelt said The Lord’s Prayer together. That night the heavens opened and God gave them water to drink. They were rescued shortly after. Their faith saved them that day. He lived until he was in his 80s. I miss him a lot right now. He always grew a beautiful garden. I hope he’d be proud of the gardens I’m growing in his honor and for his future generations. Our ancestors made it through tough times so that we had a chance at life. It would be a disservice to them to give up now.

Good morning! I can’t imagine facing anything in this world without God. I am a preachers daughter and although my father is no longer living I am confident he would have been getting prepared for what is coming. God gave us a brain and a body that is capable of working for a reason….and he gave us a spirit of love to help those that are disabled, widowed or whatever the circumstances they can no longer help themselves. Pray for one another…love and blessings everyone.

I'm elderly and on SS, no running water in 4 yrs. I love my Lord and Savior. I trust Him to get me out of this moldy house. I trust Him for Everything. Loved your comment, Sheila. God told us to prepare in the Bible and, you're so right about giving us a brain to do this. We trust God but we can't stand by and think He's going to do everything. I am 79. I grew up in western NY in a poor, ethnic neighborhood. The neighborhood meat market was owned by a Hungarian family, the bakery was German, the deli was Italian, the green grocer was Jewish and was also the neighborhood tinker. My mother had a 5th grade education but spoke 5 languages because she spoke to friends and business owners in their native languages half the time and English the other half. Everyone was respectful of the other’s cultures and customs. We had a lot of cultural festivals. Different foods. It was a wonderful experience growing up. Not like that anymore. Now crime ridden and intolerant

@@1673erica our neighborhood bakery made the best rye bread. The bakery was a house with the bakery in the front. Two houses down was another house/bakery owned by another German family. The only thing they made was cheese cake with a chocolate crumb bottom. It was so delicious. I have tried to duplicate it over the years but could never get that crust right. I did manage to replicate the filling. Secret is to use quark a type of German yogurt/cream cheese. Your comment made me look thru old photos to see if there were any from the old neighborhood. Brought back good memories.

Always loved living among different ethnicities, we all got along and helped each other. We enjoyed each other’s native customs and delicacies. I miss that world.
Those of us that can feel it. Something is coming and it’s not good for a long while. You can feel it down to the bone.
I had an elderly neighbor who taught me to always pray over the seeds I plant. That lady could grow anything!
The Father spoke to me. He said, Prepare! So I'm prepping. Water, food and whatever else.

My son is a pastor and his head is definitely not in the sand. He preaches hell fire and brimstone.. does the heart good for such a young man to be on fire for God! I love your Channel!

It sure is! Although God is good, ALL the time, He is a just God! He will not tolerate sin... ever! Too many preachers sugar coat Gods Word and don't tell His whole story. Sadly many people will perish for lack of knowledge. Friendship with the world is enimty with God... people need to hear that there is a place called hell. The bible speaks of it more than heaven. Created for satan and his minions and those who chose to be disobedient to the Father.

My second great grandfather signed up for the civil war when he was only 15. He served under Colonial Daniel McCook and was shot in the shoulder and left for dead in Kennesaw Georgia. Though he was still alive, our family was notified that he had died. It was his faith in God, and the love for his family, that kept him going. It took him almost two years to get home, but he made it. Through his faith he never gave up and eventually became an attorney, school teacher, and mayor of a town in Ohio. We are headed towards some rough times and will be tested like never before. Please keep the faith and do not give up. Get prepared, and get right with God.

WOW DANNY - you threw a lot of truth bombs this morning - I feel the same about people/family/pastor - Its now 7 years this month that the Lord put me on a path of changing me, my lifestyle everything - Now Im outta money the only thing I regret is no EMP shielding - but I pray the good Lord will put 'a hedge' around my home - His will, not mine be done. In the morning first thing I do is ask God to guide me another day - my purpose - His plan and the strength and courage to carry it out
I'm a pre tribulation believer, but the Lord said there will perilous times before He comes to get us, and then His wrath will falls. If the Lord said there will be perilous times...it's going to get bad. He gives us common sense to see what is coming to get prepared. God Bless all.
My granddaddy with a 5th grade education was the most well rounded gardener I ever met. He knew animals trees you name it. Miss him.

Your talk on faith hit home in my heart today, it touched my soul. After I had my first baby at 18 , I went through a rough patch of deep fear. I had not been walking with God at all, even though I had eagerly accepted Jesus into my heart at age 9. As a young mother my fears had become debilitating, that’s when I ran to my bed one day, and called out to God to forgive me and help me. After that, I found a church and couldn’t get enough of God’s word, I read my Bible so much. Here’s a simple verse that I needed so desperately then and would quote to myself so many times through the decades since. Here it is: 2 Corinthians 5:7

It taught me that when I pay too much attention to the frightening things that I see by sight, I have to remind myself that I need to trust the Lord with faith, because the horrible things we see and hear will start canceling out my faith if I let it. @Lori...Lord I feel you. There is a line in a song..."and I will walk by faith, even when I cannot see" (Jeremy Camp). I walked thru a very dark time comforted by these words. When you live thru it, you KNOW faith in your bones. I thought God was mad at me after I lost a child and turned away for many years. God is a gentlemen, he did not chase me. But little glimpses of his works, words, conversations, awakened my faith again. Thank you for your share, I am struggling with the sight part but you have shared a solution. Blessings friend.

The first loss drew me into a deeper understanding of the Lord's word, and much closer to him. The second child's loss has cemented my relationship that much more. I will pray for you Sister.

I started listening to this video on Tuesday morning but I was running behind on my chores and was trying to listen while I worked. I had stop the video to truly give it the respect and attention it deserved. You see I absolutely love sitting down on my porch before the sun rises with Danny(now my trusted elder) and to hear the truth The Father has for me. And to think I happened upon this channel looking for help planting seeds in the garden. Little did I know that wasn’t the only reason The Father led me to Deep South. The abundance of blessings and joy that I have received through this channel amazes me. There is most definitely some seed planting advice going on at Deep South, but it’s not always about the ones going in the dirt. I love y’all
If you attend a church that teaches the word you are very blessed and if your pastor is preparing the congregation for what’s to come wow!!!

From coast to coast I've seen the metal's in the soil. This has been going on for so long now. Finally people are waking up, but it's too late. Yes I haven't watched TV in years and I won't! I only leave my house for work and market shopping, thrift shopping.
Same here on our homestead. We watch a couple of old shows like Andy Griffen/Bob Ross 😂 or what not as a family. All dvd though. But we only leave to thrift, grocery and if we have to visit a family member.
If we’d all turn them off life would be much better!

I love to watch Porch Time several times to receive Danny's message from the Lord. My husband and I are deep in our faith. We've tried to speak to family and friends but nobody is listening. It's now just the two of us that are there for each other. I get lonely and depressed knowing that they're all asleep, but I keep praying for Him to show them the light.
I love Danny and Wanda so much! Danny's messages from the Lord are keeping us going to keep us in Faith.

I grew up with the Bible but was never taught how to use it. So I finally started doing exactly what you said - use technology to look it up!
I would question things I heard from various sources and say to myself, "let's just see where it says "that" in the Bible and why?" So simple, and before I knew it, I was hooked on learning what the Bible actually says! It really does speak to you if your mind is willing to listen and learn! Danny, one of the most intelligent well-learned individuals was my grandfather ... he did not have an 8th-grade education. Knowledge is not a sheep's skin.
I've got a PhD and served in Vietnam '68. Hahahaha
Agree, my father and father in law both had 8th grade educations and both were very wise men. Nothing pleased me more than to set and learn from them. I always thought my dad was a true “Jack of all trades” he was a preacher, gardener, diesel mechanic, fisherman, hunter. He became a diesel mechanic and shop supervisor simply by the sweat of his brow. So many go to school to learn a trade when all it takes is sitting under great men like the men of WW2 generation (very few left now) and learn. These men were very wise.
Same with my father who went to be with the Lord in 1992.
An 8th grade educated person in the early 1900’s had a better education than college students today. We truly have been dumbed down. People then advanced on merits and not participation.

Amen Danny🙂 I live in a small apartment in a small town. Have been able to stock up on food and water, a propane heater/cooker. No room or need for more as I am old,crippled and tired! I have written letters to all friends and family sharing my faith and telling them where all the stuff is when I am gone. I can’t survive without my medication for long. It’s ok with me 😌🥰. Lived a full life and hope to see lots of you on the other side!

I cannot say Amen enough times to what you said 🙏 💯 for a few years, I put off prepping because I felt "at that time" it would be my lack of faith in God!
I literally refused to do it for the very reason of faith!
One day, God opened my eyes " the fat cows, and the skinny" ...He reminded me of Noah! So much was being opened to me that I knew I had to do it!
I know that my faith is my greatest necessity!
I realize that anything that I have can be taken in a blink of a eye, whether it be weather, fire or thrives..but it takes God for all things!
It saddens me that SO many people are relying on "the rapture" instead of relying on God's Word.
The deceiver certainly has MANY deceived. It takes a ONE ON ONE with our Creator to get thru what is to come upon this earth.

It's rather nauseating to watch, entitlement mentality and unwillingness to be uncomfortable among those who say they trust the Lord. I'm a Baptist preacher and my head is not in the sand. I see what is happening in our country and how bad it's going to get. Faith and preparation is what's its gonna take to get through the coming years. Keep up your videos and keep the faith.
Mr Danny, I love porch time so much. Your wisdom has impacted my life in so many positive ways throughout the years. My gardens have struggled this year, the soil is saturated post floods, the weather pattern is crazy, seeds aren’t germinating like they once did, I have birds in my garden that aren’t usually here for this time of year, that tells me that things have changed drastically. i guess im lucky, my pastor lives next to me, he is also a prepper, he is teaching me to use my new bow. He has taught me to clean my own deer. In our church he teaches of prepping not only our souls but our households too. We playfully compete in growing our gardens. He is definitely a man of God

You are spot on sir. The world is so full of problems and are searching for answers but are into everything except the BIBLE. The Bible has all of the answers, but we have to search for them. In the process of the search we come across an answer to something else we were searching for. "If God leads you to it He will lead you through it". At 83 I still search for answers, but it keeps me going on the path to glory..... The old saying "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink", is the same with people, they have to be thirsty for the Lord in order to have the Holy Sprit encourage them to seek out the Lord in His Word. Thank you for your testimony on 'porch time', I enjoy your videos, and yes our free speech is slowly disappearing. The Devil is "very hard at work"......

You are 100% correct! Each individual is accountable. I was late to reading The Word for myself. I’d heard the words in sermons, homilies, etc. Yet I did not pick up the bible and read the words myself until 3 years ago. Doing so CHANGED MY LIFE!! Read, study to show yourself approved. It’s all about CULTIVATING a personal relationship with Our Heavenly Father through prayer, study, daily repentance and allowing Him first place in your life. Amen!!! Yeshua = Salvation
My faith and trust is only in Father Yah/God. The 91 Psalm is my protection. He is my Shield and Bucker! I accepted Jesus Christ as my King and Savior a long time ago and He is my Rock!!! My husband and I have done all that we can do to fortify our lives for what's coming. We will not worry, our Confidence is only in God. We are going to rest Him!!! Many of us know what is coming, only because we are supposed to know otherwise we wouldn't. The Lord has opened my eyes to edible foods all around me. The more I become obedient and repent, the more He allows me to see and know. I am learning to truly let go and Trust only in Him, my Lord and King Jesus Christ.
Before technology, my dad gave me a strong's concordance and a dictionary. I was 10 years old. He sat down at the table and showed me how to use them. That was about 46 years ago. He has been gone for over 24 years. Still one of my all time favorite memories with my dad. 💗

What Danny describes here sounds like the Wrath spoken of in the Bible during which truly horrific things will happen; things so shocking and horrific that men’s hearts will fail. One must study to understand who will be here to experience the Wrath...and who will not. 2 Timothy 2:15

I was just praying on my way to work this morning, thanking our Lord for all of His abundance, but more so, that I am not fearful of what is happening, because I know that this is all temporary for me. I am not fearful, but I am excited to see prophecy fulfilling on a daily basis. Yes, I do have provisions set aside, but I know that I will never use them all. God bless y'all!

Hi Danny! Hi Wanda! Hello everyone watching Deep South Homestead! I really enjoy this channel, I watch every chance I get, but it’s a extra busy time of year for all homesteads/ farmers, my husband and I have 4 gardens. I am as Appalachian as they come, I was born in what they call Blood Harlan, the name comes from years of struggle and violence between the common man/ coal miners and the big companies. We Do have a Language Of our ownI , but I’m sad to say it is Dying off. Partly because all our Youngins have to go away to colleges, and many have to move off to find good jobs, and because of many outsider influences, and social media and so on. Danny is right, a poke is a brown paper bag, also in the past some one might say give me a poke of tobacco, which would just be said give me a poke of back’er, which is asking for a chew of the old time Twist tobacco, or also poke is used as Awe, I’m just poking’ at ya, which is I’m just playing around, joking with you. I will tell y’all a funny story that happened to me with this holler accent, I was a Senior in high school and had never been farther than a couple counties out of mine, when for our Senior trip if we could come up with enough money we were going to get to go to New York I wanted to go so bad because I had never been anywhere, so I sold my Gilded palomino horse, and went, we were out Sight seeing one day on the trip, and the teacher we were with took the group of kids that I was in, into what we would call a convenient store, behind a counter they had Fountain drinks and some baked goods, I went up to the lady at the counter and said, Ma’am I’d like a pop and a cookie please? she just looked at me real confused like, so I politely asked again this time saying, I’d like a Mountain Dew pop and a chocolate chip cookie please? She started talking and I couldn’t understand a word she was a sayin’ so I started talking even slower, cause to me she looked Foreign , and I was trying to be polite and helpful, lol well that only made it worse when I said poppppp and coooookie….haha well I learned that Apparently we talk real slow and with a heavy Appalachian accent and it wasn’t called a pop there, it was called soda, and the slower I talked the more confused she seemed, I feared I might starve to death there in New York City , if I couldn’t even get a pop and cookie! Luckily the teacher noticed I was holdin’ up the line and came helped me out. later on the more I went out into the world the more I got made fun of, it took me awhile to realize people wasn’t all hard of hearing when they kept saying ohhh please say it again, they just found the way I said stuff like dawg instead of dog Interesting, cute they would say but I never even noticed or thought anything about it at the time, so when our kids go off to college and move away I understand why they don’t come back a talking’ the same. and just want to add every Appalachian hillbilly, redneck I know, would all like Danny and Wanda, because they keep it real they do what we call plain talkin’ Straight shooters, Truth Teller’s .
My grandpa called it sodeee pop. Boy we knew what it meant, just not how often we would get one. Not often! Made it taste better that way.
Hebrew words give me chills too, especially when said by a believer 🙏. Dear friend of mine says we must keep our hearts and minds on his kingdom to give us hope in troubled times, I would say these are troubled times 🙏

Pretty sure you are talking about Proverbs without looking it up. I also like what 1 Timothy 5:8 has to say. I sent that to my pastor and he didn’t even respond. I been running on faith for a long time. I can’t get any of my family to help me, I seen we’ll just call it tough times, when I was 17 I’ve done my best to prepare, I very much enjoy your guys channels. Mr. Danny, thank you for this message. I’ve been following you for a while and have diligently looked up scripture when you mentioned it in your Porch Times. The Lord knows when you are seeking Him and the answer is in the Word and through prayer. I was water baptized only on May 1st of this year and was baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues this June 5th, this Pentecost Sunday, at a wonderful church I attend led by a Spirit led pastor. The best day of my life! You are absolutely right we need the Holy Spirit to survive. I’ve been doing the homesteading lifestyle for a while but I hungered for the Spirit greatly and now that I have it, I wonder how I ever managed without it. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Amen.

All I can think sometimes is how hard it must have been for Noah to close the doors of the Ark on all those people. I can imagine that when the people around him asked him what he was doing and then the ridicule that followed….. his heart had to still break as he closed the doors on them.

Amen Mr Danny, preach it! I love hearing you preach! So much truth to so many of these thoughts. You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink, our society is so entitled we think we are owed everything. We learn by doing not by being told, all throughout the bible it speaks about having wisdom and knowledge but it is completely different then this worlds idea of wisdom and knowledge. This world thinks because we are "edumacated" we have this wisdom and knowledge but we dont actually we are much dumber than I think we have ever been, when you go to a store or what not and give the cashier money and they cant figure out what change to give you back without a calculator...we have a problem. Not only that, we dont truly have it until we have godly wisdom and we can only get that through Him and His Word. This worlds view is skewed and that it why the Father tells us to not be friends with this world. The things this world deems important isnt all that great.

I’ve been watching your channel for awhile now Danny, I really enjoy all your knowledge on the Bible and gardening. With that said I’m skeptical of anyone that claims to know what the future holds, and extremely skeptical of anyone who says I know what’s coming but I’m not telling you. I’m thankful for the knowledge you and Wanda share but be careful, ONLY God knows what the future holds.
Being over confident will cause you to fail. Nobody knows everything but everybody knows something. Many good things were stumbled upon by accident. Good ideas can be discovered by an intelligent man building upon the idea of a man not knowing what he is doing.
