The C of E started going into heresy when they ordained women. The apostle Paul said “I do not permit women to teach or take authority over men.” This latest heresy was only a matter of time. Perhaps we’ll go back to Biblical Christianity and meet in houses like the early church, when the Holy Spirit still led the meetings.
Yes once the church felt it could move the gender boundaries at a spiritual level it was only ever going to be a matter of time before they would move the gender boundaries at a sexual level.

Step by step the Anglican Church is breathing its last breath. It has taken 500 years but the result of protestantization is clear. Not to worry the same silly process is playing out among the modernists in Roman Catholic circles as well.

To me the message for all Churches is simple really. Not all straight married people get into heaven simply because of that status, and neither do all same sex attracted people go to hell because of that attraction. In both cases they will only get to heaven if they are born again into the Kingdom of God through a relationship with Jesus, so that their sin is dealt with. It is incomprehensible to me that anybody would even want a blessing on their same sex union, let alone a marriage, knowing full well the Bible strongly suggests that God cannot do that. Also, we cannot disregard either the many testimonies of being "changed" when finding Jesus, and indeed there is currently a man on a criminal charge in Malta simply for saying the Gospel effectively provided him a form of "conversion therapy" that others could benefit from. You either have religion or the power of God unto salvation.

My way or the high way from just a few, that won't happen hopefully. Anyways; want a schism? So be it. But don't count on the UK state to facilitate it. A few trads pretending they're the unique ones owners of the truth? For that I've my own RCC!... And I'm very tired of that, to say the least!... There is a word which we are afraid to mention. The official marriage ceremony must be upheld it is in tune with nature. I couldn’t understand what was so wrong blessing gay couples love for one another until someone mentioned the word sodomy. Jesus said he did not come to change the laws, nothing had changed. What does blessing the act of sodomy mean? What about the repercussions for women if men think sodomy is ok. It leaves the door open for women to be sodomised. God’s laws weren’t just put in there without deep thought. Hence I have changed my mind. Sodomy must not be blessed. It sounds so awful and uncaring to say that because gay people genuinely love one another and it seems on the surface to be divisive. The word sacrifice is never mentioned but is is an important part of our faith. Being a Christian isn’t easy. Persecution of Christians in the U.K. hasn’t started yet but it will come. There are huge implications for the future of the CofE and SJW within the Church need to remember what it stands for and curb their desire to jump on every liberal idea. Give in to this and it will be suggesting we lower the age of consent, abortion up to birth and finally the big one. The one behind all this smoke and mirrors the one no one talks about, paedophilia.
I'm not a member of the CofE or even a christian but it does seem a little odd to me that a Church which hitherto has had few issues with blessing houses or cats and dogs should stop short of blessing categories of human beings.

I hate to see church splits. Nevertheless, when the church wanders from the truth of God's word, sometimes a split is necessary.
It's going to be an interesting time but I can concentrating on proclaiming the gospel in my parish!
