I'm a souls veteran and I've put like 5 hours into the game. I had a hard time trying a dex for the first time (scythe and chain + tonfa), then I started over with an odachi + axe and I'm having a way better time adjusting to the pacing of the game. It would be very cool if you had some more videos to help out people coming from the souls series. (Subbing and checking your other vids now :D )
Patrick Teixeira I wouldnt reroll too much because there is an incredibly easy way to respec later. I used the majority of the time the slower weapons and never cared for the fast attacking, ninja gaiden type stuff. Spear, Odachi, and Axe were my favs (consider an Axe on your back as a "yokai slayer" because its skill tree will boost your damage against yokai. Think The Witcher silver sword.) As far as new content I will consider it but personally, iv plantinumed the game on PS4 and got burnt out on the game around expansion 2 or 3. Great game but somewhat lazy expansion execution.
Dude. I just started plating nioh after elden ring. I'm addicted. I was really annoyed that my life and ki bar stayed the same even after investing points in them. Thank you.
Sooo many new players don't understand the discord mechanic, i'm surprised you didnt even touch the subject. If you manage to apply 2 different elemental effects on the enemy it'll totally drain their ki bar and make them unable to regenerate it.... yes even if they are standing in the yokai realm.. and the debuff stays for as long as the enemy has 2 elemental effects on them so yeah.. can be a pretty long time. This is especially useful on bosses.
I know im very late to the party, but unlock dodge as soon as possible. It helps regenerate your ki and you wont have to bother as much with R1 in the heat of battle, just get that timing 0.2 of a second later and you can swing the night away and give the opposition a hard time.
I just started It took me a few hours to learn the mechanics. The only thing I would like to ask, is how I get materials for the tools in the forge. Other than that I think I got the hang of it,
not trying to dog on you brotherman but I was expecting more. these are useful beginner Tips perhaps but advances tips and trick it doesn't make the cut. good video tho be mindful when reforging tho as it can eat your gold if your not careful
Thank you!! With the recent Nioh pc release, do you plan on making some more videos?

I reassign X > L1 on the ps4 controller. Dodge + camera control = nothing new but in case nobody tryed it ...
Sorry but... I don't know if this stuff qualifies as "tricks". For sure these are not "advanced tricks"!
Love the game , only wish they didn't lock out the options to turn off the mouse movement based target switching -_-
Kinda weird to see multiplayer as an "advanced tip"
Kavrick Multiplayer as a way to farm money and materials. Not just "get help" that many people think it is.
very usefull thx
Kodama!!!!
