Varvatos would be a top tier house if they would craft fragrances that lasted longer
Have to ask after the time past what they’ve had with all of these releases why haven’t they made 1 that performance is good? They hire good perfumers who are given a briefing on what they want made and obviously they must be getting told to make short performance ones lol
Artisan Blu is in my top 5 fragrances all time. I love that you show love to some of the overlooked creations.

Artisan Pure is one of my Summer go to fragrances
First got artisan pure. It started my fragrance journey. Ended up gifting it to my brother after a year. It eventually reminded me of pine sol and I couldn’t get that out of my head.
Just got artisan XX. Omg I love it so much. Fresh very spicy. Earthy and very piney to me. It’s incredible!

thank you for this as i had been confused with every single john v fragrance as there are so many, but the best i've heard reviews from were john varvatos artisan pure and black and normal.
The original Dark Rebel is one of my favorite frags hands down. I love the stuff, I even get a slight axel grease note way down in the base (it's pretty subtle) which reminds me of my childhood, I wish it wasn't discontinued.

JV Platinum is hard to find but so damn good, it's my favorite.

That Artisan Teal, I swear last week I was going to buy it. I had it in my shopping cart, but ended up going with other fragrances. I was checking Fragrancebuy and Perfumebox and it's sold out now.
My top 2 are Artisan Pure and Dark Rebel. 1 summer and 1 winter.
I managed to grab a Dark Rebel for under $40, which is a steal for what it's selling for on Ebay. Wow, is that not for me! I'm running head first into 60 years old so I don't think it's a maturity issue. I will hang on to it until winter to be sure before it goes on the trade block. Thanks for the list!

I got lucky and got a bottle of Artisan Black early last year and I recently got a decant of Artisan Pure
Dark Rebel was probably my best TJ Maxx pick up ever I got a 75ml for 15 bucks about 4 years ago.
My fiancée wanted me to wear something I thought would vibe with the newer Batman movies and I went with that. I got a couple compliments on the way to the movies.
I got the Varvatos X Nick Jonas silver based on a past review you did and while I really love the smell it is very weak in performance and I have other similar frags that perform way better.
Seems like the running theme from what I hear about Varvatos is they just don't perform that long. If they had longer staying power it would be a better house.

John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider, I have it but don't wear it often but when I do I get the leather but I get raspberry for some reason on the dry down. I have Vintage but rarely wear it but I got because of Justin. I have Artisan but just doesn't perform. Stay safe. SOTD JACQUES BOGART HOMME
XX Artisan is my kind of scent! I have Vintage and Artisan Pure. Pick up Teal later down the road. I have Turathi Blue from Afnan on the way.
So I noticed that you are missing one of JVs best my friend! If you can find it and are willing to take the dive, Oud is a CAN'T MISS fragrance my friend! You also mentioned what your two favorite "green dominant" fragrances are. My friend, you MUST get your nose on Guerlain Vetiver! That one may just slot in there somewhere! True MASTERPIECE! Oh, I'm lounging around the house tonight and I have Azzaro The Most Wanted on, smelling like a Heath bar! 😂😂

Love Varvatos fragrances. I would take the Dark Rebel Rider off your hand if you do not want it😅 Imposible to find that anywhere, at least at a reasonable price. Let me know if you want to get rid of it . Also sport bike rider myself, but I wouldn't mind wearing that. All the best ✌️

These are so bad on performance that I have to take these with me. They're in the back of the shelf. Even when I go to the gym and I'm never at the gym more than 2 hours
Own maybe 5 Varvatos and I never touch them because of the poor performance
Hahaha, perhaps it's just me. But I won't recommend anyone getting the Artisan pure. Total shit. It smells like orange extract. I bought it. I almost threw it away. Nothing good about it. Weak performance too. It's almost like they just squeezed oranges into perfume bottles and sell.
For me artisan blu smells like a cheap 5$ deodorant my dad used to buy, yes its grassy and not blue, very old school. Something a man in their 45s would wear, with a jeans jacket and a moustache. 😅😅😅😅 Just my opinion

The og artisan is amazing and top 5 of all time frags for me.
Spray on clothes and spray heavy. Works fine in comparison to other light summer fragrances
