That paintless KDK looks newer and cleaner than the ones that I've saw in two of my relatives' houses in Penang. Because both of them have a missing logo on the motor cover and the other one have a missing regulator in my late uncle's house.

Speaking of which, is the one with missing regulator at your late uncle's house hooked up directly to the wall switch? Or is it just the regulator knob that's missing
My guess wasn't correct, but this is an even more high quality fan! The way it behaves on the higher speeds, and the blade chopping sound reminds me of my grandma's National F-15YM (speed 1 and 2 are faster on the F15YM). And even on the original capacitor it still runs very fast! I think it might beat the F15YM a little. I'm still shitting bricks that the KDK logos look so good! Hopefully one day we can see the original paint of the 3 Ultrawide blades.

I think she might be even faster than my 2003 KY153 on speeds 3 and above! In some ways she does remind me of your grandma’s F15YM too, in terms of aesthetics and performance As for the blades, I didn’t remove the paint as I’m worried about removing the original paint alongside it too, once I move her to my other house I might put the original colored ultrawide blades from another first iteration pancake on her. If you don’t mind me asking, what was your original guess?
