1980 National F-40NMK 16" Table Fan (2024 remake for teltras68)

This video is for ‪@teltras68‬, who requested me to film a remake of it, but unfortunately I couldn't at that time due to COVID lockdowns, and cross country travelling wasn't permitted hence I couldn't go back to my hometown, plus I went abroad to continue my studies, hence the delays. Thankfully the Chinese New Year holidays gave me the chance to film this long-awaited remake!
I got this fan from my local thrift store many years ago. It does have the usual wear and tear for fans of its age, and unfortunately the cord has been replaced. Nevertheless, it still performs really well, despite being an older fan!
This has got ot be one of my most favorite National table fans. Not only is it a really handsome table fan, it blows a hell lot of air too! These beasts are powerful AF, and if you've got one of these bad boys, you don't need air conditioning or an industrial fan anymore! ;)
The F-40NMK was first introduced in 1978, as part of the 1978 National K Series fan family. The K Series fans were made from 1978-1980/81, and they were the final mainstream Matsushita general fans in the Malaysian market that come equipped with metal blades, since they have been replaced with plastic blades in 1981. Its KDK counterpart would be the 40BMG, which is also one of my favorites!

Finally you did it!
It is a really nice one, smooth operation, very powerful.
I do prefer old fans over the fans made in the last 3 decades ago. 1990 till now on desk fans market is really a crap made fans and motors.
