I like these weird analog Mandela Catalogue-esque games. And the questions were interesting. I liked the calibration eerie sounds and the odd shadows. I would definitely like to see an expanded version of this.
When a dog is truly part of your family, you might treat them like a person. Then you start seeing all dogs as people.

Firstly, you’ve grown quite a bit since I’ve seen you! Secondly, instead of “no” to the “wake up” I like to say “five more minutes…” just take my advice. The monsters always stop when you do that.

The last time I watched a let's play of this, I didn't notice it, but it's glaringly obvious now. If you look at the screen, you can see the shadow of the table, the clock.. but not you. You have no shadow, despite clearly sitting directly between the screen and the projector.
I wonder what that might mean, or if it's just an oversight?
Given that shadows are such a significant part of the game's atmosphere, it's probably not a mistake. Shadows appear for nearly everything, including monsters, but never for the player character.
You show up at the end.
The head and shoulders is you. When the... thing, starts to extend towards you, it's shadow creeps onto the screen showing it about to eat you.

Not to be a downer here but Manly says quite often that he doesn't accept keys or recommendations. He wants to buy games he finds interesting himself and he bookmarks devs he already played games from so it's very likely that he'll play future games of yours as long as they seem interesting to him. He records most new games the day they release but he has a big backlog of recordings so most of the time (unless they are big releases) the uploads will be many weeks later.

I think the calibration crosshairs turning into a gunshot crosshairs was a super smart part within the game. It surprised me because I haven’t seen something like that done before.
The fact that it is giving you false images reminds me a lot of AI learning, creepy af

What does that mean
Jerma is a twitch streamer and youtuber, he's also the "SUS" face guy. A lot of his viewers started making edits with his distorted face onto news channels or papers, claiming that he murdered a bunch of people, or every human person's faces merged into one is his face. Generally a lot of weird stuff from his fanbase.

This is one of those games that's creepy, but they never actually give any satisfactory explanation of why it's creepy. "Hey, what if you were forced to take a psych test alone in a room with a projector with black and white images, but something was off about the test and it was actually being conducted by monsters?" "Oh, that sounds cool. But why are the monsters conducting the test?" "I don't know. I guess I'll just have the monsters kill the player before it's explained."
I mean, the nature of the questions makes it pretty inferable that they are trying to mimic human shape and take on a “friendly/disarming” appearance, but don’t quite understand what that is for humans.
Also… it’s a demo, so obviously they won’t show the actual ending.

Certainly similar to other analog horror games, but I do like that added layer of it being clear that things are happening around you outside of the immediate test. Adds a sense of urgency that they were never going to get with just the timer, even if the result of running out of time was a similar jumpscare.

I believe it came from a horror game called 'Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem' for the GameCube. I never played it myself but I watched a playthrough. It has a sanity mechanic where when the sanity meter gets lower the more the characters would hallucinate, often shouting 'this can't be happening!' or 'this isn't happening!'
