stunning rifle . weight could be a factor however with bull pups i find the wright is generally to the rear of the rifle and when shouldering it you don’t notice it so much . have to agree with the under rail lot of gun manufacturers dont put that under rail on which is a must for me i dont like resting the bottle on stuff . i am sure its not an issue but i just dont feel comfortable personally having weight on the bottle connection . can’t weight to see the shooting test . i believe thats an un choked barrel on the epics . sure look good with all the kit on them 👍 but a considered purchase not a cheap item but quality of build reflects that
Cheers for the comment Paul. I’m kinda disappointed that things they could have added to the rifle are sold as extras, but then again if they were standard then the cost of rifle would be more. Having said that, I think in 2024 manufacturers should consider designs where bottles are somewhat protected, especially if in a bullpup/field/pest control rifle, where people are potentially going to rest on it to shoot.
Nice review, cracking looking gun i was going to go for one of these but its weight is putting me off,i use a vulcan3 500 for my hunting and that gets heavy after several hours
I started with an AIRWOLF years ago but decided too heavy for hunting so swapped for a HUNTSMAN and kept that for a fair few years as it was quite simply ‘brilliant /reliable .. But fancied a change and looked at the AGT VIXEN , loved how light it felt but the cheap plastic guard , the easily scuffed shroud put me off so next up was the BRK GHOST … or should I look at the EPIC ONE ??? Both around the same weight and I figured both are as accurate as I need/ability so which one ??? I decided on the GHOST and bought it two days ago … the epic too start with was more expensive and then straight away your into options listing that the ghost plus gave me ( larger bottle , better fitting case etc ) and happy with my choice
The Ghost Plus is a great rifle; it's great for fieldwork and also shooting on the bench. Having said that Part 2 of the Epic One video did make me underestimate this rifle....
Hi, Nice to meet you in sams the other day, as for the rifle I see a few niggles one of which you mentioned the lack of a cage or rail to protect the bottle another being no lock open after last shot blank in the magazine it would also be nice to see a cover over the hammer adjuster to stop inadvertent changes and keep any dust or rain out of the action if indeed it was used for pest control in the british climate and my main gripe which not only applies to epic but most manufacturers is the use of special tools to cope with the so called anti tampers. If people want to go over the limit the anti tampers won't stop them however it makes life more inconvenient for people to choose what set up they require to either chase shot count accuracy power be it up or down to suit their use case.
Hi Paul. It was great to meet you too. Sam mentioned your experience and expertise; my hats off to you! Great point your raised about the hammer spring adjuster; whilst being accessible it should really have some form of removable cover as it protect it. Please check back for Part 2 of the video and thanks again Paul :)
Love one 👍

It is a shame about the weight, but Part 2 on this rifle did have me smiling. :)
Looks great build quality but for me way too heavy for pest control and only one mag is disappointing at that price
@@Getting-Older yep, I would agree with you. However wait till you see Part 2 before you make your final decision…
