It's all about me and the things I love to do...
It's all about the 'G's! - Guns, Games, Gear & Gadgets!
- I collect, talk and shoot airguns (I'm getting back into one of my favourite childhood hobbies)
- I'm a Games Designer and play videogames (well that's linked to my job really)
- I collect and talk about memorabelia (from my favourite films, videogames, etc)
- I love the latest tech and gadgets (there's always something new coming out)
- and anything that's cool to pick up and play with!
...I'm just a big kid really!
If you like the videos and the channel, and if you’re happy to support further, then here’s a link to my Ko-Fi page. If you want you can buy me a coffee or put something towards pellets for the reviews. Anything is greatly appreciated and it means so much that you’ve donated. Thanks so much :)

stunning rifle . weight could be a factor however with bull pups i find the wright is generally to the rear of the rifle and when shouldering it you don’t notice it so much . have to agree with the under rail lot of gun manufacturers dont put that under rail on which is a must for me i dont like resting the bottle on stuff . i am sure its not an issue but i just dont feel comfortable personally having weight on the bottle connection . can’t weight to see the shooting test . i believe thats an un choked barrel on the epics . sure look good with all the kit on them 👍 but a considered purchase not a cheap item but quality of build reflects that
Cheers for the comment Paul. I’m kinda disappointed that things they could have added to the rifle are sold as extras, but then again if they were standard then the cost of rifle would be more. Having said that, I think in 2024 manufacturers should consider designs where bottles are somewhat protected, especially if in a bullpup/field/pest control rifle, where people are potentially going to rest on it to shoot.
Looks great build quality but for me way too heavy for pest control and only one mag is disappointing at that price
@@Getting-Older yep, I would agree with you. However wait till you see Part 2 before you make your final decision…

Beautiful rifle, very nice , can you tell me the make of the tripod please.
Ridiculous head/shooting position, can't see what your trying to achieve
Are you taking about the thumbnail or the testing I did in tbe video? Granted it’s not the usual position you’d adopt for target pistol shooting but as I was shooting from a rest I was trying to eliminate any shooter error from the equation when judging the accuracy of the pistol itself. As for the thumbnail, we took that picture just for the thumbnail purposes…
Sexy air rifle love
Hi mate I’m looking at getting one in the new year, any problems or issues you’ve had? I’ve heard some people have had issues with loading the magazine, any regulator issues? There shouldn’t be as it’s a huma reg, and I fitted one to my bsa r10 a few years ago. Kind regards Jon Fin
Hi mate. Thanks for the comment. Fortunately I haven’t had any issues with the one I’m mindful that I haven’t shot it as much as I would have liked, but knock-on wood so far no problems.
One other thing… I’ve been using a single shot loader because I’ve been using it on a bench for target shooting, as opposed to in the field for pest control. So I can’t vouch for the use of long-term mag use, but considering this uses the same mag as my delta wolf and I’ve had no mag issues with that, this one’s been ok (again knock-on wood) :)
Hi again, Just picked up an Kral NP-02 in marine finish today, Absolutely cracking gun for the price, Thought id just recommend one incase the old cash is burning a hole in your pocket lol, Been enjoying the hw50s limited as well, only thing is the weihrauch has made my other cheaper springers feel really crap to shoot :).
I changed out the barrel for a full length steel rifled one. Nice review . Accuracy will be better if you don’t rest the pistol itself. Rest your hand instead.
Thanks for the comments and the tip. I’ll be sure to try that next time I do a pistol review
With pcp rifles I’ve gone over to 53’s to get more consistent seating of the pellet in the breech.
Hi Zuby, looks like you have come over to the old school. Glad to see you shooting the Cometa. Keith will love shooting the fusion. I still prefer my fenix over my hw98. Glad to see you enjoying the springers. Big Dan is one top man, wish he would come up to Atherton and have a good days shooting with us all. All the best Zuby & will see you down there soon.
Brandon mate. You’ve been a big influence and support in helping me getting back into springers. So huge shouts to you mate. Your passion and expertise has been great to see when we’ve spoken and the Cometa was something I’ve been quietly eyeing up since you let me try yours. I’m looking forward to next time we can meet at the range; I’d love you to try out the springers I’ve gotten into now and tap your brain on what I should focus on next. Thanks again mate, you’re a star! :)
I bought the Fenix 400 USC about 18 months ago and love it. I switched from Springers 30yrs ago gradually working my way through a range of quality PCPs, sub 12 and FAC (waiting for my latest purchase to arrive as we speak) but this Cometa is a keeper. They have a unique and unusual firing cycle and I find it a refreshing change from a pcp. I’m mainly a walk and stalk pest control controller as far as air rifles are concerned so the weight and size of springers compared to the modern day super light, folding stock pcps means the pcps have to be my go to guns but I still wouldn’t part with the Cometa.
Thanks for the comment. The Cometa has been something I’ve been keeping my eye on and Dan’s Black Friday deal on it was a no brainer for me. I’m so pleased with it and not having shot it for just a day is giving me withdrawal symptoms! I’m terrible! 😂
@ I know the feeling😄
Big dans top bloke
Definitely mate :)
Just bought a fusion walnut, very nice stock and I like the twangless shot cycle and the lock time is super fast. However I think it's going to have to go back to the shop as the first stage on the trigger is rough and it's very loud for a springer. And I wasn't keen on the gruanchy sound and feel when cocking. Don't get me wrong it's a geat gun for the money that can shoot 5p groups at 30 meters with h&n barracuda 8 but I don't think it's the right gun for me. For an additional hundred quid I can buy a hw97k
Really sorry to hear it’s going back. I’ve accepted that out the box the trigger first stage needed looking at and it’s slightly gritty now but I’ve been told by Dan and other experienced springer shooters that this will iron out with use and then I’ve got the options to fine tune to get the first and second stages even better.
The Fusion is better than every new BSA, Gamo or Hatsan break barrel on the market and will end with a better trigger close to a HW. The Fusion is exactly what the market in that price range needed to compete away the other cheap build rubbish. The HW safety catch is just what you're used to, no problems at all to push with my thumb from the side but for left hand shooters placed on the back will be way better.
I’m amazed by the Fusion and how competitive the quality provided is for the price. Also the Fenix which is coming soon to the channel is also as beautiful.
@@zubysan Two winners 😁
Any reason why your slamming the barrel shut so hard???
I don’t know; guest it’s force of habit from using my old BSA back in the day

nice rifle and for the money i think you get quite a lot of rifle . not a shabby group at all mate . especially because the barrel is only had a few pellets through it 👍

Im about to buy one the weekend whats the balance/weight like sounds silly but i havent picked one up tho i had a ev2 and ftp900
I think the balance is fine for me and the multi-positional hamster helps with that. I’d definitely say try before you buy; based on its cost. Make sure it’s right for you.
Thank you keep up the great videos on all the topics
Nice rifle mate, good to see you appreciate shooting a springer
Where to get the full auto BB version?
Great rifle. The Jubilee editions are not my cup of tea, i like the standard beech stock more.
It is a great rifle and I’m so glad I have it. The beech stocks are really nice too; I just couldn’t resist the red laminate stock
No offence to you but, I saw the beech stock HW99S while picking up my HW50S Limited, The beech stock doesn't hold a candle to it, Not even close, My personal opinion of course.
@@coaldust01 that’s why I went for the limited stock too…no regrets
@@coaldust01 Hi, Yeah it's of coarse all a matter of taste. The newest HW stocks with the cut out in the shoulder piece i do also not really like. Most of my HW's have the older stocks. Laminate is strong and perfect for material for a stock but i don't like the look of those layers, especially not when colored. Nice walnut makes for me a gun perfect. I own a S410 walnut and i ordered a HW35E 👌Cheers!
@@rapalaron6348 I have a Reximex Accura with a walnut stock, The factory finish is terrible so I need to get the tru oil out soon and have a blast at it 👍🏻,
I expected to be disappointed by the blowback since 4.5mm replicas usually have less blowback than their 6mm counterparts. Seeing that first shot made me smile!
I’m glad it brought a smile to your face; I was like ‘wow’; wasn’t expecting that.
The heart is Hovering over the add to cart button, The Wallet is saying No, I really like this springer, Beautiful gun for any collection, Really enjoy your videos, Looks like a great range, Wish it was closer to london, Keep up the good work.
@@coaldust01 thanks so much for the kind words. If you’re ever up north and have time, I thoroughly recommend a visit to the range. Keep in touch and let me know what you decide. Happy shooting mate :)
Stopped by the shop today, I'm now the owner of number 691 lol, Had two in stock and they let me pick the stock pattern I preferred, What a beautiful rifle, Had a little shoot today after cleaning the barrel and because it's very accurate I never realised how changing holds affected POI on a springer, It's a .22 and putting out about 10.6ft lbs ATM but that will probably rise a bit as she beds in 👍🏻.
stunning little gun . those scopes are not to shabby for the money i find the glass very good 👍 what i like about spring guns is the bare not at all forgiving if you don’t hold it right it will punish you 🤣🤣🤣 . now shorts for me are a cracking pellet shoot great through my red wolf my tx and my 510 tactical . not so much through the 98 that likes qys or barracuda 8 slightly better

Thanks so much. Not been a great time of recent with two bouts of illness, but on the mend, touch wood :)
I'm sat here holding one of my four de-acted Model 29s, thinking that has to be THE most convincing-looking replica revolver of all time. I'm having one as soon as I can find a dealer to sell me one. BTW, Germans call the cylinder a 'drum' - German - 'trommel' - here in UK we call it a cylinder. We also say 'leever' not 'levver'. Also, the term you seek is 'double action', rather than 'double fire'........ just sayin'. Nice review, though.
Thanks for the detailed comment. I’d definitely recommend getting one; it could be your 5th in your collection :)
@@zubysan 😁
How many mags do you get as standard
Just the one magazine
I have a feeling the likes of pellpax and JAG stocked up alot due to potential high demand for this replica, i've by pure luck just been in on the JAG website and spotted it...fastest £149 ive spent in a while :D
Looks more like a steyr TMP
The Gamo MP-9 is a .177 lead Pellet shooter and not designed to shoot steel BB's - it has a rifled barrel and by shooting steel BB's you destroy the rifling in the barrel.. causing loss of accuracy. I have owned my Gamo MP-9 for many years now.. and it is a great replica of the B&T mp9 and it is an awesome little pellet shooter shooting standard pellets well over 400fps - If you are looking to buy one in North America they are pretty hard to find now.. and I love this little pellet shooter so much I bought a 2nd one.. it was the very last one in the store.. and since I bought that one I have never seen another one for sale anywhere. I plan to keep one all original.. and to fully customize the other by doing some valv and hammer spring mods and by replacing the short barrel with a long rifled barrel from a Crosman 1077 which will greatly increase the power and velocity. The only negative about this pellet gun is the flimsy folding stock - I always thought that eventually it will break.. and so far it has not.. but I would like to modify it or replace it with a better folding stock system. I also made a cool looking silencer for it that makes it very quiet to shoot outdoors. If you find a Gamo MP-9 for sale anywhere.. buy it! - you wont regret it!
Thanks for the detailed comment. The box on this shorter barreled version clearly states it takes both pellets and bb’s and also says it’s a rifles barrel, so I do agree that it’s pellets all the way and not bb’s, as the test also showed. I’ve also seen one of these models with a longer rifles barrel which is hidden under a makeshift pre attached silencer, but that model is more expensive and also harder to get. Hope you enjoyed the video and thanks again for sharing your experience of the MP-9.
To much work just to have a little fun. Easy pass.
What’s too much work? Its all very simple
So you showed up at the range with a toy lol
lol, whilst it did feel a bit like one, it’s not bad at 10m with pellets and for the price it’s a fun little blaster
Toys hurt if you get one in the eye...
