I'm not the best FM player, but one thing I've been trying is just before a transfer window opens I look through every squad until I find unhappy players. That generally means they want more first team football, and will be willing to drop a division or even two in my case. Make a lowball offer, I mean like £100 for a 100k valued player. They will be under pressure from the player to accept, in the same way that your star players start whining when you won't sell them for £2 to chancers fc. So keep making the same offer, and sometimes they will accept. Make sure you actually want the player though, I got a decent player accidentally because I was trying to screw with the squad harmony of a rival team. Still, even if you just want to sell them on it's worth a try. Another tip, it might've been fixed for recent FM's, but if someone makes an offer for a player and you don't want to accept (but you don't want the board to force the sale, or the player to be unhappy with you) accept their shitty valuation but add in a clause to swap for one of their most valuable first team members. They will invariably withdraw from negotiations. Or at least they do in FM17.
Also worth mentioning, that when you bring a player in on trial, they more often than not ask for a lower wage compared to what they ask when you just try to approach to sign them outright. Great video mate!
I really enjoy lower league saves more than any other, have managed to get Hendon on FM20 from VNS to League One playoffs in under ten years with zero budget year on year. The staff tip is highly recommended, just keep refreshing and improving. Other one I enjoy is if I'm stuck for a player to fit a position and need a quick fix (particularly in non-league with injuries/fixture congestion) is to ask a DOF Suggestion and they'll give you 3 options to explore on trials or loan.
a trick i used to always do when playing LLM is to arrange friendlies with the top reputation teams at the start of the game, you make quite a bit of money from that.
An important one is injuries. A lot of tight fixtures in LLM, longer seasons and higher risk of injuries. Make sure you’re occasionally setting the teams training to recovery.

Amazing video! Just one question: what’s the advantage of 2 weeks trial instead of 1 week? Cause when the 1 week is over, all atributes are shown. If possible, could you explain this? Thanks!
1 week only shows attributes. The second week shows how consistent they are or If they are injury prone. the second week is to uncover the pros and cons of the player's hidden attributes.
Some boards just refuse affiliates no matter what. And my loan offers are always rejected because they don't think my roster is good enough for their player

Go All in on the fa cup as the gate receipts from a match against a premier division team will save your budget for the next two years

I do like the DoF suggestion as well Dave. It's a good way to get a quick recommendation!

Why give them a short contract so they can walk for free instead of selling them on when you no longer need them?
