Man, you gave me so many inspiration on this one. I saw this video late 2015, I believe just before I bought an Enthoo Luxe myself (december 2015) ... now I switched my old blue motherboard to a more white one (MSI Krait, still not perfect but way more clean), black and white HyperX RAM sticks, and white sleeved cables ... Thanks for that!
I love white. Everything I own is white, I was even thinking of spray painting my monitor white. Damn, I have issues.

yeah maybe in conversion. but the actual COST of things in australia are more. so like the 1100 it would cost me to build it in the US is equivalent to 1400 australian. but for some reason my build costs 2000. that means just because im in australia i have to pay a 600 premium.
your cost is just the conversion to your currency, you are not actually paying more.

I am currently waiting on my parts for my build. I am using a white Phanteks enthoo pro case as well and I'm putting the Hue+ lighting kit in it. This will be my first build and it will have a three monitor set up and 2 ASUS GTX 1080 STRIX graphics cards. I love this build and you have sold me on this case even MORE! I am so excited and I cannot wait to build my first gaming PC!

You can't absorb cold. Coldness is the absence of heat.

The heatsink will not be exposed to direct sunlight so heat absorption is not an issue. A black heatsink will radiate heat more effectively than a white one, but because the heatsink temperature is so low (perhaps 40-50°C), this is also not an issue. The vast majority of heat is transferred to the air by convection, not radiation. The paint itself is somewhat of an insulator so bare metal would be slightly more efficient.
could it still make things a little bit less warm (not including the heatsink)? also wouldn't it be preferred if fan blades were black so the heat can transfer more efficiently?

I have a question. I'm looking to build my first computer and really want to overclock an lga 1151 skylake CPU. I have 2 questions.
1. What is the difference between the 45$ white Enermax CPU cooler, and the 90$ Enermax CPU cooler? Which is the better option for overclocking(or better bang for your buck)
2. Should I just go for a CPU cooler like the Dark Rock Pro 3 or the Noctua DH-14/15 instead, or will they give me about the same performance as the sexy Enermax cooler(s)?

Thats their mid range cooler and it fucking demolishs pretty much anything else. Anything noctua is going to be better than something that isn't, hand down. They by far make the best fans and heat sinks. If the made graphics cards I'd own four of them by now.

Is thermal paste mandatory for every cooler?
Kinda yeah, it's not mandatory but you do want it, it's really effective to "extract" heat from the CPU and give it to the fans.. And it's like only 5 bucks, so yeah.

Great looking build - This video helped me find a decent white CPU cooler that will work with my white/black build using a different Phanteks case (black outside white inside), a white GPU and black/white fans, and an AsRock TaiChi which is mostly grey. I also bought the LED strips because they look so good with the white parts. (I was going to skip all RGB). Thanks. FYI: I was already a recent subscriber.
So, the inside of this case has a pretty sweet cable management system of its own I see. That's nice!!

Great build. I have a base gaming build I did for about $700. In a few years I'm going to do either a red/ black build or maybe a green lantern build. Building PC's that destroy consoles is a lot of fun.

Thinking about making all of my components white and going with an LED strip too. Even though my overall theme is green I like the idea of everything inside glowing the same color without anything particularly standing out. It's just one flush hue.

Guys don't worry. As he demonstrated you can change the color. It can not only represent white and black but also yellow (for Asians), green (for Hulk/Martians), blue (for Zoras), red (for angry southerners), and basically any other color.
