    Here is a fun tutorial where I used silver filled fire to make a shape of bezel. I sometime add wire to build up shapes so thought of sharing this technique.
    Supplies you need:
    - Copper wire
    - Copper foil
    - Silver filled wire
    - Flux
    - Soldering iron 100watt
    - Soldering wire leadfree
    - Patina (novacan)

    A tip Jar if you like to buy me a cup of tea :) ☕

    Would have liked to see the back after solder was covering the looped wires. Beautiful piece as usual.

    STUNNING PIECE!! 🙆❣️❣️ A couple questions.. can any wire be used for the wrapping part of stones/crystals, or does it have to be Copper Only, and same question for the 'silver filled wire'?? Thanks Tiffany! 🤗

    Beautiful work! May I ask why you didn't use the Silvergleem for the entire piece? Thanks! :)

    Lovely video
    Sorry to bug but I had a quick question why do you use two different types of lead free wire? What is the lead free grade 88c for or what is the difference between the other one and that one ?

    • @rory4563
      @rory4563 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you asking about the solder? I would also like to know what the differences are and why the two are used interchangeably during a piece.

      Hi Thankyou for watching and liking it .
      The reason i am using 2 is the silvergleem helps me attach charms easily to the projects .But being in UK silvergleem is hard to find so i try to use as i require and for rest i use my normal lead free solder.
      Its not necessary to use both you can work with just one solder as well.

      Tea And Art Thank you so much for the videos and responses! I was using this technique yesterday with herkimer diamonds and copper and silver wire and the diamonds got too hot and broke 😬 your videos really help show the process and how to acheive the wanted effects without too much fuss. I have some nice labradorite and larimar I will use next time. 💙💚💜

      @@rory4563 your very welcome i am glad you find them helpful as i am a learner my self but love to share what i know .
      Oh it broke must gone very hot or there might be a hidden water pocket in hetkimer that made it broke.
      I learned that you need to work fast and need to move solder working on same spots of long time make the crystal hot .
      Some time i stop working if the crystals get hot and let it cool down first.

    Does the wire need to be copper, since you tape it anyway? And the silver wire? I have jewlery wire.

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Thankyou for watching my creations 😊.
      Yes you can use any wire if you want to wrap in foil.
      Actually soldering artsit use copper wire to make the frame of a crystal then you need no wrapping.

      Hello such lovely jewelry you create... Can you tell me what gauge of copper wire you used to wrap around the stones .What is the width of the copper tape you used to wrap & make bezel. Also, what was the copper wire gauge that you made the bail to hang the jewelry piece? Thank you so much.
