      Thankyou so much for your beautiful words of appreciation means a lot.
      I use just a normal one but will share from where i buy in future videos.
      There are few resons for tape coming off.
      1:Your item may be have oily residue just clean it with isopropyl.
      2:When your iron is too hot it makes the tape comes off.

    What if you use a light grade steel wool? Would that get the smaller parts? Or is it too much?

    Love your videos and technique. I’m trying to learn how to make beads. Solder keeps puddling. Any suggestions? Thanks!

      Thankyou so much sure just flux the area take a little bead of solder on your soldering iron quicky drop it and move away the solder.
      Then apply flux on top of the solder you dropped toych the tip of soldering iron on the bead it will round it make sure your iron is hot.
      I might try to focus more on beads making in my next tutorial 😊

    What width tape do you use and what lead free solder do you use ? I saw on amazon they have different solder. And where did you buy iron ?

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mostly use 15mm to 20mm.
      Any lead free solder can be used.And i use silvergleem for that high quality finish .

    How does it stay on the antler? I did one with a piece of glass similar and it just popped off like a bead cap.

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The main key is to burnish your copper tape very firmly to the antler it will take time.Hope it helps.

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also if you sand the surface where you are applying the copper tape it helps.

    What’s flux?

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Flux helps the solder to flow and is very important for soldering.
