halfsouthafrican just like every friendship regardless of nationality or race, you have to build a relationship. All in all, I can say we have a mix of close friends that we got here, some with Filipino background like us and some international and locals. We believe that in general the locals here are more accepting to new immigrants compared to other countries (we’ve lived in at least 3 different countries before so we have an idea for comparison). In the next coming months, just like most countries, they will try to fix local economy first before taking in more migrants I suppose. Good luck and all the best to you and your family.
I think Canada has a slight edge in terms of job opportunities. Education & Healthcare is almost the same as Australia. But I can’t stand the cold! That is a major setback for me. I lived before in New York and I can’t stand the winter season. Imagine going farther north to Canada! I think both countries (Australia & Canada) are already overrated for immigration. I suggest New Zealand as an alternative to Australia. And if winter is not an issue for you, consider Nordic/Scandinavian countries instead of Canada.
Chris Watson A lot of immigrants have actually been more successful in another country than in their own respective countries. It’s all about searching for a greener pasteur & where you think your life would be better. That doesn’t mean that those who immigrated didn’t try in their own countries. Otherwise, if they’re already successful why would they choose to leave? Some people needed to come out of their shell & leave their comfort zone & eventually that risk pays off because many of them are success stories as well.
People who come to Australia come to take the benefit of all the stuff that other people's ancestors have paid for. They are like burglars - going into other people's homes to take a share of the home builder's inheritance.
Migrants are ruining Australia. They contribute to traffic congestion and overcrowding on public transport. They contribute to a need for more infrastructure that all Australians have to pay for, not just the newly arrived foreigners that make it necessary. They push up the price of housing and they have ensured that wages have not kept up with the cost of living. Every migrant puts our wildlife treasures under threat. As the human population of Australia increases, the wild mammal population decreases. Population increase, most of which is immigration, is destroying the Australian way of life.
Hello, this is really informative among other videos. Sir, I just want to ask po - I’ve been with banking industry as Senior Collateral Manager for 8yrs and single. What type of visa should I focus on? Is it visa189 or 190? Nakakalito po kase ung nasa immigration site. Thank you.
Ma’am thanks for the kind words. You need to look up po on the Skilled Occupation List if your occupation is there, then only can you start to process if you’re aiming for visa 189 or 190. Visa 189 is general skilled immigration where you can live and work anywhere in Australia (usually these are the most in demand occupations nationwide and requires a higher skilled immigration point for better chances of getting invited to apply for this visa) while 190 you would need to be nominated by a state or territory (get the nomination first, which comes with 5 extra points that you can claim for your application) but once you get this visa you can only live and work within the state or territory that nominated you for the first 2 years of your visa. Please consider this as general information, not an immigration advice. Thanks a lot and all the best!
Thanks for sharing. I hve benefited a lot from your video. I am very shocked at the reality of Australia. But thanks for sharing anyway. 7 years in Aussie is no joke😎👍🏼
Homelessness has become so common that only those born in Australia or are exceptional own homes. Even some Australians cannot buy their own house there. The mortage rates were too much for them to consider.
Australia has long been the refuge of people who face economic. political or other deprivations. The immigrant population is mainly from sources that cannot supply the basics to many. Jobs are the biggest disadvantage in Australia as foreign qualifications are seldom accepted. I came 70 years ago, it was hard, but now it is almost impossible.

Do not immigrate to the state of Victoria, especially Melbourne. I live here and it's been the hardest longest lockdown in the world this year. We have a dictator as a Premier and he has removed most of our freedoms. We are not free. If you immigrate to Australia, go to the state of New South Wales. Overall, I do not recommend coming to Australia. Once you are a resident or citizen here, you won't be allowed to leave the country.
Do you realize Australia has very low coronavirus cases and deaths compared to most developed countries. Only South Korea is similar to Australia in this regard.

Hello, I am writing to ask about the subclass 189. The point of age are granted and calculated at what stage, Is it at the time of EOI, or when receiving invitation to apply or when lodge the application of the visa. Thank you
Fuad Abutaha based on our experience, your age is counted from the day you receive your invitation to apply for a visa, and not at the time of EOI. You will receive a score between 0 to 30. That age range is calculated as follows: 18 - 24: 25 points 25 - 32: 30 points 33 - 39: 25 points 40 - 44: 15 points 45 and over: not eligible for a Skill Select Visa So for example If you are 39 years old and entitled to 25 points when you submit your EOI, but only receive your invitation to apply after turning 40 years old , you will score only 15 points. To get professional advice, we highly recommend getting in touch with a MARA registered migration agent for Australia. Good luck and all the best. @@BarBelleEverAfter Thaaaanx very much for your replay and for the information. How much time approximately needs from apply EOI and getting invitation to apply. Thank you in advance
Fuad Abutaha I would say between 6-8 months depending on your EOI points scored and also the competition in your occupation as some occupations in the SOL have ceiling quotas and they base invitation from the top scores down. Good luck by the way and update us how your application go. If you want to send us an email, we can have a look if we can connect you with a MARA agent that could help. Thanks and cheers!

We love NZ too! We are not fans of cold weather that’s probably one of the biggest factors why we migrated to Australia instead of choosing Canada.
Stay in your own country Make it fit to live in. If you can't make your own countries fit to live in, why should any other country allow you in?
Great video wow nice
You have shared a very very valuable information, for the migrants.
Thanks for appreciating.
The immigration process in the USA is just has difficult as well.
@OceanBlue More difficult in Australia or USA?
usa greencard is almost impossible now .
GOOD MAN !
Unique but getting invitation isn't easy!
Why???
Australia is a paradise compared to any country in Asia that’s for sure. I am an Australian living in Asia and life here is pretty horrible for most.
M Dee please take care and keep safe.
BarBelle EverAfter thank you! Same to you and love to all my friends from Phillipines here in Asia working so hard and still smiling! Xx
So if the Asians have made Asian countries horrible, what is to stop them ruining Australia in the same way that they have ruined their own?
Chris Watson mate I don’t disagree I come from Eastwood in Sydney look it up
@@chriswatson1698 you really think Asians or minorities will gain enough power to run your country and ruin it? 🙄
Thanks for sharing. I hve benefited a lot from your video. I am very shocked at the reality of Australia. But thanks for sharing anyway. 7 years in Aussie is no joke😎👍🏼
New subscriber and friends here 💖.
so should i get a visa first before applying a job in Australia or after applying a job?
this is what i'm honestly wondering too
informative thanks
Thanks!! You just talked me out of wanting to go to Australia.
Overseas experience is not relevant in Australia even if you are an engineer. You start w/ jobs locals will not take. I know because I worked there.
I came 70 years ago, it was hard, but now it is almost impossible.
can you get a job on employment visa when you come to visit visa
Nice very informative! 👏👏👏
Salamat po happy new year!

We hear that Australia is a land of peace.
Australians are very humane.
Thanks for this very informative video, would i ask you what positive things did you find in australia but you wasn’t expect to find?
Thanks for appreciating our video. We didn’t expect to love the weather here but so far it’s one of the best things about Australia, more specifically about Sydney because winter here is not so cold and the spring / summer seasons are the best!
migration must serve the interests of the destination nations. no human rational.
Hi, what kind of visa did you get?
if it is so hard to live there why not you coming back bro ???
It's even hardar from where he came from
Hi i am shadrach, I am 23 years old and wanting to move to Australia from Africa, Liberia.
Your link in your video description is not working

Do not immigrate to the state of Victoria, especially Melbourne. I live here and it's been the hardest longest lockdown in the world this year. We have a dictator as a Premier and he has removed most of our freedoms. We are not free. If you immigrate to Australia, go to the state of New South Wales. Overall, I do not recommend coming to Australia. Once you are a resident or citizen here, you won't be allowed to leave the country.
Do you realize Australia has very low coronavirus cases and deaths compared to most developed countries. Only South Korea is similar to Australia in this regard.
@@mkzai This is a prison. A prison with only a few cases. People who want to live in prison can come here. In our state of Victoria, we have just been locked down again, for the third time. I am trying to warn people - to help them.
My Dad is from Melbourne and i am from Serbia, can i get a PR if he received a PR Visa?
What about as a blue worker without a degree
I'm Thai and I'm planning to move to Australia soon, i just can't stand the terible country, bad government, suffering people, scams and stuff, when i counted how much it would take per month i was like oh this is cheap so i decided to move, well not now, in 6 years or something
Not 👽 migration we white nation
We expect gold standard professionals not sub standard asian qualifications ok
By the way I am 55 years old going 56 this year

What can i migration agent help with? Thank you in advance :)
Malthe Herre Skod immigration agent can give you advice on possible ways to migrate to Australia. It all depends on your qualifications.
NO..DO NOT USE AN IMMI AGENT. i know a number of ppl who utilised and were severely conned out of thousands if dollars🐏🤢🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
This video is really good in regard with all information however if someone migrate to Australia with at least 500k Austrialian dollars I think that should be enough for start
I don't know why you would go to Sydney it's more expensive to live they then have a places in Australia I go to the Philippines a lot a not leave from Perth Perth is cheaper in housing why does a higher maybe groceries a little bit dearer but it's so much better than Sydney like the houses of cheaper the roads are wider and also it's decide much better to leave here then Sydney and also if your from the Philippines Perth runs in the same time zone as Manila
the worst decision of my life. i moved here from the usa and its been a nightmare. australia is not what it seems. theres only one way to move here and its through a work visa or you suffer a mssive loss of quality of life. massive.
Hi sir thanks for the info. Marami po akong natutunan. By the way sir kamusta naman po ang mga pinoy ngayon dyan sa lugar nyo after covid19? Back to normal napo ba kayo? Thanks and God bless you all😇

That age range is calculated as follows:
18 - 24: 25 points
25 - 32: 30 points
33 - 39: 25 points
40 - 44: 15 points
45 and over: not eligible for a Skill Select Visa
So for example If you are 39 years old and entitled to 25 points when you submit your EOI, but only receive your invitation to apply after turning 40 years old , you will score only 15 points.
To get professional advice, we highly recommend getting in touch with a MARA registered migration agent for Australia. Good luck and all the best. Thanks for your comment please feel free to share our videos and subscribe to our channel. Cheers!
These information were all relevant and helpful to those who want to move here in Syd. In my case, I would say I'm one of those who were lucky. First, my husband (Filipino) and his family were all well established here. My husband and I already have a place to move in whenever we want to. My mum in-law was the head of Diversity Dept in an Education institution. This gave me an opportunity to get hired easily though I do not have any working experience in Syd yet😇.
All the best! Congratulations on choosing Australia as your new home po.

Hello sir I am planning to apply to a visa consultancy for a student visa will took the course of cookery. What should you advice for me? I am afraid if i can survive there.
Best suggestion from us is do all necessary research regarding area you want to go, the course of study you plan to take and all the costs involved. That way you can assess if you’re ready or not. All the best, good luck!
