He’s too worried about trying to be cool.... and that’s ego. You can’t reach someone trapped in that cycle. Because he’s not being his authentic self. Other young black men see this and it perpetuates the idea that it’s not ok to be vulnerable. Vulnerability = genuine.

I understand it’s really hard to shake that when you grow up in a place where Vulnerability is considered weakness and can get you robbed or killed.
