You would just have to highlight the section that snapped to the wrong notes and move them to the correct area. In autotune plugins there is a way to disable and enable specific notes too.
Maybe you r using trial version . Load Edison on the same mixer channel and then ... ( Detach Edison ) ...then on the record button in Edison and then play audio on pitch vst .. Edison ll record it for u

What if the scale of the beat is a E flat major. Because there is no E flat major scale on newtone
You can get away with using D Sharp major, since D Sharp major is just E Flat major
