Lemon Tree Cutting
This branch of a lemon plant, rooted nicely last year sometime.
I had noticed it had some roots growing in different directions and so I thought it might make some good surface roots (nebari)
I spread them out over a bit of branch and wired them down.
Over time the branch started weighing down and a new sprout volunteered right in the middle.
I think I will continue to grow it into a nice bonsai lemon tree.
Oh and by the way... the bees were really out in full force today. there must have been hundreds of them on my tree.

Well, it was a branch that I cut from a plant that I grew from seed :-) does that count?
